Are these events frequented by cops? I'd like to bring a vehicle that hasn't exactly passed inspection in the last few years...

hey i got two simple questions:

1. my car now get driven like 2-3 days a week since i've moved. it sits for intervals long enough to flat spot the tires. what are your opinions on an oil changing schedule? should i do it by months now instead of miles?

2. my passenger side front strut is squeaking a lot (i think it may be the humidity today mainly). what can i do about it?

1) Don't worry about flat spots on the tires, it would have to sit there for months before that would be an issue. Even then after a little bit of driving they smooth out. My Mom's car sits for months on end and its never been an issue for her.
As far as changing oil goes, I only put about 6k on my car a year and still do my oil changes by mileage. Todays synthetic oils are extremely tough. There not going to break down by sitting there, esp with our turbo cars that create a ton of heat any moisture that does get inside will burn off. Thats the way I look at it at least...

2) Take that ish to the dealer, your car is stock. Try to get them to replace it.
