2. my passenger side front strut is squeaking a lot (i think it may be the humidity today mainly). what can i do about it?

Hell yeah, I'm bring the bachi!

I assume its work 2nd, run 4th?

Last to run sucks and is good at the same time. There should be lots of rubber down by then making it easier to follow but it also may be getting greasy by that point. We'll find out... All I know is I'm ready, Jersey was the last one I did.

that etown ax seems like it was a year ago already...

let me know what you want me to bring on Sunday.

Looks like its only EVOs & STI's in BSP this time and they're out numbered 2:1, hopefully we'll dominate the class and leave those slowbies in the dust!

I second that Dan!

As for the oil, I don't think it's that big of a deal. You can do mileage.

No....but as you know on the forums all you hear is negatives about everything you can things of...dash rattles, seatbelts, shifter, strange noises, cup holders, you name it. Truth is 95% of it is horse hockey!

The positives far outweigh the negatives. I've learned that people just like to b!tch!

If you want to bring some chips or something that would be cool. I'll bring the grill, dogs and rolls. Other than that don't worry about it.

I would call a few body shops or dealerships to see if they can point you in the right direction.

As far as changing oil goes, I only put about 6k on my car a year and still do my oil changes by mileage. Todays synthetic oils are extremely tough. There not going to break down by sitting there, esp with our turbo cars that create a ton of heat any moisture that does get inside will burn off. Thats the way I look at it at least...

2) Take that ish to the dealer, your car is stock. Try to get them to replace it.

Good Luck
thanks pete, tim and nick,

i wasn't over concerned about the oil changing bit. it's just been on my mind lately.

pete, it takes me about 7-10 miles of driving around 60-70 to smooth the tires out after it's been sitting....i am not concerned about that either just an observation.

so you think the strut noise could be an actual issue rather than needing a lube? i will drive out to fred beans in doylestown to get it checked. too bad i can't rely on dtown...it is so much closer...but that service manager is a serious d!ck. He'd look out the window at my car and say it's fine.

Matt had his done by oakes, he's popped up in here recently. I'm putting mine in his hands here sometime soon, just gotta figure out the best time to do it.

And seriously you neglect this thread for a day and there's 80+ new posts. It's crazy, hurts my mind to keep up with everything.

Those of you who went to atco last night, how'd the times turn out?
