Does anyone know if driving around with a dp only will hurt anything. I heard someething about ppl burning valves that way!

 

I think as long as your not beating on it you should be fine. I wouldn't go spoolin it up and ripping through the gears. Its gonna be loud as ish though...

 

dude open DP is the way to be man!! No damage can be done to your valves with a terbow.. Only if you are NA and run open header (decreasing exhaust gas velocity) giving an "burn-back" effect would you have any chance melting a valve that way.

Does anyone know who drives a blue 9 with an ARC intercooler? i just saw it on washington ave at front st, i was in my truck tho, and i also saw a black 8 or 9 going S/B on 95 at the N/B cottman exit.

so how long do you people think my clutch has left? i jacked it up at ATCO now every time i go into first it feels like its slipping a little, but once it goes its fine...let me know, cause im gonna grab a new clutch soon just in case so i have it when the time comes

Imma newbie from the New Joisey Shore (South/Cape May Co). I know ABSOLUTELY no one down hear with an EVO of any year. Or anyone who is into cars like myself... Every once in a while i'll catch one here or there on the NJPRKY in 1 of my Bimmers, but then they become a dot in my rearview mirror pretty quick

I just picked up my brand spankin new EVO X on Monday and looking for some new heads to chill with and bull**** about who's car is faster. I frequent Atco 1-2 times per week in one of my rides and hit up as many events as i can. Plan on hittin up The Summa Slam @ E-Town tomorrow, jus to take a look around.

I would definitely like to meet some locals and shoot the shyt (bout who's cars faster...j/k). Got *BIG* plans for my EVO aka PROJEK_X, which MUST be complete for 8-16-09 for Dooms Day (EVOs shyt-on WRXs) All i can say is my cage better be done or imma get thrown off the track on the first run

chu that open DP has to be insane... why don't you just use one of the two stock exhaust you were offered until you get something? not to discourage you from coming tomorrow but, they have done sound level checks @ CBP before. I think 96 dB is the limit

shaw, about your clutch, try getting on the highway and putting it in 5th at like 2k RPM and go WOT. if its slipping you'll know right away cause the RPM will jump but the car won't move.
