I'm definately getting aggressive wheels. I'm getting the Rota Grids in 18x9.5 with some Dunlop Direzza Star-Specs. Just not sure if it'll be any time soon. I wouldn't mind doing the calipers with the same color but they would have to be faded and peeling. Right now they're one of the few things that look almost new on my car...haha.

Rota's???

It doesn't look like you've been cutting any corners while turning your car into a beast, I don't think you should start now.

+1 and for the price of new rota's, you can get some "good" used wheels. If you were planning on buying the rota's new of course.

If it's in September I could probably do it. August is always busy and I'll surely be recouperating or maybe still **** drunk on the 30th from my sons "birthday" party the night before.

Well I understand where you guys are coming from on "Cutting Corners". I guess I've had my mind on cheaper knockoff wheels since I bought the car knowing I was going to drive it everyday. Now that it's off the road I'll take your advice and consider some nice new or slightly used wheels. If they were used they would have to have "zero CURB RASH". I hate curb rash. I would never buy wheels that already looked beat up. I forgot what the rotas are a knockoff of? Is it the Volk TE37's? And if so I'm assuming I can get the volks in the same aggressive setup?

Almost forgot.......I would have to take the weight into consideration. If there wasn't much of a weight difference in the two then I'm pretty sure I'd go with the Rotas.

Rota will most likely copy any popular set of wheels from Volk TE37, Work CR Kai, SSR s1, etc. Also, the better brands comes with a wider variety of offsets so you can be mad tyte jdm all day. Besides, you wouldnt want this would you?

Dont even get me started on this picture. Its such internet BS. There was more to that picture then just a wheel falling off the rim.

I've seen factory rims disconnect at the spokes, depends on how you hit them. Regardless, Rotas are still questionable quality.

I have a guy at work that totalled his SRT-4 driving on I-95 North. He was cruising and his something on the road. The outer ring of the wheel completely broke away from the spokes and put him into a wall. By the way he's a 53yr. old man who doesn't race it or have any mods on it.
