I haven't experienced it but me and Importjunky were discussing tuning and tuners and i mentioned how Ivey locks the tune. He informed me on a few things to handle that since he was Ivey tuned.
If any of you guys know someone looking for a WRX, my very close friend is trying to sell his. Becasue of medical reasons, he can no longer drive and just want to let it go. Its an 02 with 160k. Has new tires, HKS exhaust, and Prodrive springs, wingless and debadged. Aside from that, its basically stock. Car does need a clutch, which he has purchased along with a resurfaced flywheel, which will come with the car. Asking $6200/obo, please let me know if someone is looking for a car.

Well I don't know about the X's but the VIII's and IX's that are tuned via Ecuflash need ECU Unlocker to read the ROM when tuned by Sean Ivey. I forget the website but you can google it. Hope this helps.
we're supposed to have another cruise on the 23rd in the reading area. should be some awesome roads out there. pete, hopefully you can get all fixed up by then. it won't be the same without you. and it would be awesome if i could have my exhaust installed by then too.....it will be close as it is coming the week before.
btw anybody familiar with removing a pill from the boost solenoids? do i remove the entire line (it's about 4 inches) and push the pill out? i have an off the shelf map to run after i get my exhaust on. i plan to get a custom tune before the end of the summer. i just want something to run until then. i may get an UIP before the tune too. (i am totally biting off of tim but that seems to be the right sequence to mod X's).

tim, i wouldn't copy your wheels. that is just sad on my part. however, without ever seeing your's those would probably be the wheels i'd choose. don't expect me to have wheels for a while anyway.

We can pick another date. I know some of us (hopefully me, *fingers crossed*) will be autoxing on the 30th. Looks like it may be September at this rate...
