From what i heard track rentals are the best bang for your buck when it comes to drag racing. I'd like to see your car at atco if you went the same day a bunch of us go but i think a track rental is your best best to try and get some good runs in.

I'm not a big fan of the purple fad thats going around but i actually think it will look good on a black evo. I'm actually looking forward to seeing everything finished up.

haha, I might dissapoint ya. I'm a decent driver though. As for the purple fad I haven't seen any purple valve covers in person. Only a couple online. I'm sure it'll look sweet though. Especially that power brace peeking out from behind the bumper

I was thinking about rolling up in my Mazda. Just dropped off the parts to JNZ. That Purple color is a special color and won't ship from California for about a week Anyways I'm having second thoughts on the STOCK STRUT BAR. What do you guys think? Too much? Think it'll take away from the valve cover? I like the stock strut bar and wanted it to stand out so I figured why not go with the same color.

Haha.... I hope so man. I should be ready to go. I'm guessing I should try the Bracket class? I'm not fast enough for heads up on pump gas. It should be a pretty sweet day.

jim if your going to go bling you might as well go all out and do the strut bar. this is gona sound so stupid but i looked at your avatar and saw that you had an SE evo, funny thing is the SE comes with all the limited addition sh*t and last time i saw you you had 1 seat and a ghetto rigged meth tank haha.

pete hows the car, waiting until this weekend to get it looked at? any other guesses?

petey im going to call you monday about the wheels, how much lead time you think? pretty stoked man

Jim, I agree with you on the strut bar being overkill, and yes it will take away from the valve cover. I say get it flat back, or pick up the Carbing bar and coat if black. The piping on that thing is humongous, and would look badass in your bay. Some carbon trim will set the purple off nicely too.

My E30 got hauled today by the PPA, wtf. Now I have to spend my Evo money to get it back before the storing fee piles up!

Hey you calling my **** a ghetto cruiser? Well all of the interior is back in and the meth tank is permanently mounted in the trunk now. I'm leaning more towards overkill on the strut bar. I think I'm going to keep it the stock color and pick up an aftermarket bar later. As for the Limited addition **** it's basically all the same options as the MR except it doesn't have the six speed, VG, or the Bilsteins. I think the only thing specific to the SE is the Red stitching on the seats.

By the way if anyone knows where I can pick up a plug for the back window let me know. I want to remove the Rear Wiper to clean up the look of the back. Plus it's more weight savings....

Ok, nevermind on the window plug. I found a link on here to a site called Harmancorp.com that will give a free sample if you request it. I think they send you 4samples for free. Wiper just looks so out of place with the wingless look.
