and as far as all inclusive goes? i am still on the fence with that. our honeymoon was at sandals in st lucia and you basically do and eat what everyone else eats and does and excursions were like the forced march. so my opinion on all inclusive should be solidified with this trip.

i've been following trip advisor closely with reviews and i have yet to find any significant negative ones.

I'm all about the all inclusive's. Shelly and I really enjoyed Negril last year. I'm not a big fan of Mexico, never been there and have no desire to go. I would much rather be in the Caribbean somewhere. My sister honeymooned at Sandals St. Lucia., she liked it but she never left the resort. In Jamaica, we left the resort but only in big groups. Its not the type of place to wonder around on your own. Either way I good with laying on the beach and drinking all day, buzzed snorkling ftw!

$$$ may be an issue for me. I'm not sure I can commit at this time. Expenses are rolling in quicker than the money at this point, and I still haven't had to pay for my car yet.

Pete, you loaned me that $$ a few months back @ etown when I forgot my wallet. I wouldn't have a problem fronting you if it means the difference between you going or not... just throwing it out there.

i practically lived in the caribbean for several years in miami. down there you get all the caribbean cultures in one spot. there is nothing dumber than a cuban expatriot though.

the only place i am interested in the caribbean is cuba and have plenty of friends that have been there. i am just afraid my wife would blow it at certain crucial points when going to and from out of nerves.

soon obama is going to open up relations with cuba and we'll all be able to travel there. then all the fat annoying americans from miami/new jersey/new york can go in there like they own the place and completely f^ck it up.

i know i am american but we have a very "we're #1" attitude and it really gets on my nerves when i'm out of the country. keep that bullsh!t at home and have a little humility when in someone else's country because you complain about foreigners at home too.

when i lived in spain, i hated americans. when i was last in italy i told everyone i was cuban....i have the accent to back it up. the chicks were super hot when trying to switch from italian to spanish

Thanks Marc! I have the $, just don't think I should be spending it. Also, with autoxing that following weekend it looks to be an expensive week. I'll keep you posted.

Well, seems like everyone who asked about LVGP is pulling out for one reason or another. Marc, seems like its just me and you, and our friends from outside the forum. WTF? Should we reschedule for the following week instead?

Nick, social life isn't too bad if you know ppl to show you around. I hear there's a huge base here, so I know what you're talking about. Four things not to talk **** about down here is there military, NASA, and Alabama or Auburn football. Southern girls are hot though...

Sna, how are you feeling man? Hope you're recovering well, and the car is getting taken care of.

BTW, did anyone see the new 02 dump from Shearer Fab. They're back on the forum now, and bringing a bunch of stuff out for our platform. They claim it will be the best out there, and should not have any fitments issues as we've seen with some of the well known ones on the market. Prices are a bit high in my conversation with Ron @ Shearer, but Shearer stands behind their product. Just figured I through it out there for you guys looking for into 02 dumps. I'm not marketing for them or anything, lol.

chu, those 02 dumps look pretty sweet. good quality welding. the only turn off for me is the $425. pretty expensive. would like to compare that to the jmfab piece that jim has.

Chu, I've got everything lined up on my end for MOnday, rescheduling would be a PITA.
I suggest we keep the date solid and hopefully the people on the fence will come around.
