I could spend 30k on my car if I had the cash. Thats just not realistic though... you can't try to compare/compete with everyone all the time, life doesn't work that way.

I have no idea what your talking about... You gotta just focus on one thing at a time with the house otherwise you end up like me, waaaaayyyy over your head. Try to do everything you can on your own before you start just cutting checks. For instance lastnight I spent 2hrs caulking windows and doors, never done it before but I did a decent job. 1 room down, the rest of the house to go... I know what I'm doing all weekend.

chu, by per diem you mean a chunk of money work gives you to travel for each day? per diem in healthcare means something different...it refers to staff that work on an "as needed" basis for an accelerated rate (otherwise known as PRN....like medication).
Yes, exactly what I meant. It really adds up when you're not out blowing it every night. I also try to stay at hotels that serve dinner when I travel for work, so i eat out less during the week. I use to not care before, but it's nice walking home with extra money at the end of the week!

Pete, you know its not a competition. But talking about what people are doing gives you ideas! That's all.

Chu, did you see next weeks event is cancelled... They claim the Phillies cancelled it for safety reasons. That sucks, I was thinking about trying to make it down.

Yes, ninja edit FTW!

No, I didn't see it. I wasn't going anyways, since I had planned to go snowboard. But a reshecule means I will be able to make it at the next date.

The summer series will be different though. I will plan my summer around racing! lol. I have a sponsor to represent...
