fp black, good amount of mod's
Thanks for the input, I am going to give The Shop a go at my car. It is not like I have a crazy setup, I would like to think it is hard to screw up a tune on a stock Evo.

And to Ethan, my car will finally be out to play come Friday, now that the weather sucks. Not that I spend much time cruising around Enfield, but I hope to see you around. P.S. - I keep forgetting to ask, do you (or at least did you several months ago) frequent Buona Vita? I kept seeing a TB Evo sitting out front on my way home from my girlfriend's house (she lives on Shaker Pines lake).

(I also just realized I signed my other post "-NERDY"...that is the username on every other automotive forum I am on...figures, I really should beg a mod to let me change to it, I have the license plate to match.)

Nice man. Its about time! P.s. if you ever have some free time I would LOVE to take a couple data logs of your car before you get it tuned. Ive never been able to log a COMPLETLY stock Evo before. It would be interesting to see the stock profiles and what not. Its too bad we cant log boost and AFR though Anyway no worries if you dont feel like it. Let me know if you do though we could also run a log after your tune and confirm the legitimitness and safety of your tune after you get it done.

And yup that was defiantly me at Buona Vita. My roomate and I used to go there every Sunday for the specials on coors light and half off apps during the NFL games. They have the same deal now on Sundays during NASCAR. Nice place, great food.

If you want to do it, it has to be before the end of this month. Scheduling is going to be tricky because i want to burn through all the Stabil-ized gas in the tank before getting on it, and I have something like 0 free time, ever. We can work it out though.

We could probably do Sunday afternooon or Tuesday or Wednesday evening. Let me know.

I'm in. We should meet at the Big Y again this year for those who made it last year (I think it was in Tolland off 84)....there were 100+ cars there of subby's and mitsu's

BTW....im way to old for a car show to get me excited but the turn out for this one is pretty impressive.

Awesome! yeah any of those days I could most likley work around. What ever works best for your. And if you just cant because your super busy don't even sweat it. It would just be interesting for me to see how a truly stock evo is tune wise from the factory and how it reacts to the mitsu tune.

Plus we can save a copy of your stock ROM for you incase your tuner doesn't and you can always go back to stock if you wanted to.

I believe you're mistaken. The Rain Date is Sunday, April 18th. The actual date of the UConn Car Show is Saturday, April 10th.

Silkey was pushing it back hoping his car may be closer to being finished by that time. Silkey did you drop it off yet?

Walt, Ethan, and other owners tuned by Mellon-

Where is Mellon located? I tried googling them, and I couldn't find an actual address. Do they have an actual shop, or are they a privately run, mail-in-tune business? I'm shopping around between a couple tuners in the state, and I'm leaning toward EFI, but they don't have a free saturday until April 17th. Since i'm impatient, I've been looking around in the meantime, and since Mellon is pretty big here on the forums i figured that I should look into it.
