Suggested route for fall foliage run? Or if no specifics, what types of roads and what areas (highways, backroad twisties, cruising etc.)? Is there a dedicated thread for the Fall foliage run?

FWIW, my 2006 EVO IX SE w/ 45k is for sale if anyone is interested....PM me, haven't started a thread on it yet. thx.

Guys... Instead of the Fall Foliage run, come on the New England Rally Fall Run the weekend before...

Here's a thread from the NER forums with details..
http://www.newenglandrally.com/forum...ic.php?f=7&t=8

The route:
MEETING TIME: 8:00 am
DEPART TIME: 9:00 am

Holyoke Mall Parking lot off of Rt 91
50 Holyoke Street
Holyoke, MA 01040

Von Trapp Lodge for lunch
700 Trapp Hill Road
Stowe, VT

Hart's Turkey Farm for dinner
199 Daniel Webster Highway
Meredith, NH

Shaws Lancaster
(Stop to pick up food and evening beverages for the cabins)
199 Main Street
Lancaster, NH

Lopstick Cabins for over night stay
45 Stewart Young Rd
Pittsburg, NH 03592

452 mi – about 9 hours 24 mins drive time

Its free to participate, you just need to reserve your own cabin... And we'll probably have fireworks to light off while we are partying @ the cabins...

My girlfriend & I will be taking her RSX, my buddy tom will have his lotus exige if the weather is decent (His Speed6 if its not), Dave will probably bring his STi, and there's about 15-17 other cars going as of right now... Its a great way to do something car stuff, and bring the significant other with you for a nice getaway (Or a good friend to have a blast NoHomo)... lol

If anybody's interested, I'm having a party @ my house this weekend... All

When: Saturday Oct 2, 7pm until whenever..
Where: My house in Griswold, CT (PM for address)
What: A party... DUH...
Who: A whole bunch of people... (FYI, quite a few Subaru people, so play nice!)
Why: Why the hell not..

Rules of my parties:

21+ to drink... If you aren't 21, PM me and we'll talk.
BYOB.. May want to bring a cooler as well.. My fridge fills up fast at parties..
The grill will be operational.. Feel free to bring food if you want, as it will be appreciated, but don't feel obligated... Its a BYOF type thing..
If you have them, bring yourself a chair.. I've got about 10-12 chairs, but if you don't want to end up like snowman and sitting on a collapsible cooler, bring a chair..

The firepit will be going all night as well...

Just let me know if you plan on coming out..

Has anyone close to Enfield gone through the trouble to make a $5 boost leak tester, and wouldn't mind helping me troubleshoot my Evo?

In the ongoing saga of my futile quest for a couple of Rookie championship jackets in autocrossing, my car is now messed up again. I have decided that the noise my suspension is making is the bushings at the tops of the strut towers (non-issue), however a new problem presented itself. On Sunday my Evo decided to go way down on power in the middle of the day. I originally thought the wastegate was stuck open, but I am actually making more boost than I thought, ~7 psi. I am now thinking I may have a significant leak, but I don't have time to make my own tester before the next points event on Sunday and time to test the car. I am pretty confident I'm not going to have the car sorted in time to run it on Sunday, and I don't really want to race the car not knowing what is wrong with it anyways.

The car runs fine at idle and the drive home from Devens it performed normally except for being way down on power. No idiot lights or codes are present, and nothing seems obviously out of place.

As always, thanks for reading.
