It was like getting hit by a meteorite. God bless her and her family. I hope she's ok. Everyone walked away but both vehicles were totaled. Her insurance said they were up to $18K plus and that didn't take into account the suspension and drivetrain components. It could very well be north of $22K in damage. Keep in mind it's never seen snow and I can count on two hands how many times it's been rained on. It's been fun guys and I may buy an Evo 11 someday. Have fun and drive safe!!!!
That's awful! I remember how well you took care of the car. I'm glad that you're ok and you seem to have a great attitude about it which is always a good thing. What are your plans for the next car?

I don't see why not. What do you guys think for judging? Just basic ballots and voting or what? Only issue I see is that this may be rather subjective. I for one prefer function over form so I'd be much more likely to vote for a car without tons of stereo equipment and monitors in every conceivable location. Maybe a category for show and then for overall performance?

Good luck with the new purchase
Yeah I know, it sucks pretty bad. Still waiting on her insurance to finalize everything.

She was at fault. The car is totaled and her insurance is covering it. My car was mint and it would be extremely difficult to find another GG IX SE to replace it. I did a 500 mile search and only came up with two hits, and they were TB and AS. I figure I'll wait until next year to find something else. RS4, E90 M3, or 996 tt all sound like good choices at this point. I just don't want to pick up another car payment right now. I'll probably be at the Uconn car show anyway hanging with the Audi guys, so I'm sure I'll pass through the Evo section.

Its funny but I never see another Evo whenever I'm DRIVING my Evo...only when I'm in someone elses car or if I was in my other ride, my Integra .....

However, I sold my Integra today, so now my Evo is my only full time ride...maybe that shall increase my chances of seeing a fellow Evo owner on the road.....Cant Wait!!!
