chu, i remember you talking about how you want snows not to go fast, but to be safe...

who else has tons of fun the last few days? I was out sunday night when the roads were empty. Didn't have to guts to attempt a highway speed drift, but did get some practice steering with the throttle. Figured that was a more prudent first step, lol.

Oh and there is nothing like passing big pickup truck with plastic ***** hanging from the back

Does it count as a ricer flyby if there is 8" or snow on the ground?

You're right Kenny. And I felt safe driving that speed. There wasn't much snow on the ground at the time, maybe 2 inches? Also, the debate we had was between performance snows, versus regular deep snow tires. I choose the latter.

Subtle "pete was wrong, I was right" post...

I'll have you know, the Snow Lions performed very well the other day when I was out, although I still have to get all the mold release off the tires. I didn't have the Evo out in this storm, its clean and in the garage... The Mazda performed very well though.

I need to head down to Import DPS at some point today...

I have to call to make sure they have one, but I'm going to grab a Megan o2. I plan on sending out my hotside (to PPI) this week as well.

The car gods are angry with you btw.

While your car was being pampered, mine was getting battered up, ramming piles of snow left by plow trucks.

I didn't buy snows with the intent of not driving it in the snow, my car has seen 6 years of getting its *** kicked in the white stuff... It deserved a pass with this storm. Beside's I wanted to test my new toy.

Sweet. Prolly want to call FP and grab a new oem exhaust gasket too, unless you plan on reusing yours.

He says you should probably get one. I'd reuse one with under 50K but over that and it's not worth saving the $20 at the stealership.
