all of us with snow tires should go to brooklyn and race through the unplowed streets. apparently there are cars and buses stuck everywhere. I;ve seen some pictures, and think an evo could make it through alot of the mess.

 

Awe... I have the snows but no EVO. Guess that leaves me and Alien Visitor out.

Yo Marc, thanks for the tip on Pho Thai Nam! That place was great. Finally got a chance to sit down and get a bite to eat there. Had Red Curry and Chicken with some spring rolls! Deeeelicious! Next time I go it will have to be on a cold day and I'll have a nice warm bowl of Pho! People were having Pho around me today, what a tease.

basically its the cheapest and lightest out of its class, but its also the slowest overall out of its class... and all the other classes... even the one below it. I wouldnt trust C&D as the be all end all when it comes to automotive journalism so take it with a grain of salt.

hey marc, how did the end of the month/year go for you? I though I finally had a break towards the end of the day, went out for lunch, had some beverages, came back to crazy people calling me (5pm my time) from cali and denver needing MSR reports finished and invoices balanced etc....super fun!

sorry I cant join you guys for beers this sunday, sounds like fun. ill be back up in a few weeks to chill and check out some guns (PITA to get a gun in VA with a PA CCW permit). cheers everyone

any of you gun guys have guns with tactical rails with light/laser combos? trying to find a holster for a full 5inch 1911 that accepts the light/laser combo like the tlr-2. kinda hard to track down a good one. also deciding on waistband or shoulder or both. thoughts?

 

Shoulder will be easier to find but less cancelable in summer. Check into blackhawk I think they have a lot of tactical stuff

shoulder seems to be more comfortable and easier, but would be winter time only. IWB is best concealed, but less easy to quick draw. I have an OWB holster but it is easily seen if your not dressed properly and impossible to wear when rocking the suit (after the jacket comes off).
