I've been thinking about getting my permit for a while. the reason I haven't gone through with it, believe it or not, is because I don't trust myself 100%. like you said its a huge responsibility and liability. I can't help but think some of the situations I've been in previously would have ended much different had I had a loaded weapon on me.

marc, i too have carried for a couple of years. less frequently with the job as i cant carry in the office. i have been in some situations where it has made me more comfortable having it with me, but never felt the real need to actually use it.
i like being able to legally carry if i so decide, but fortunate enough to never have to use it. carrying a gun is a huge responsibility and a huge liability. i truly hope i never have to use it anywhere but the shooting range. but its like everyone says about condoms etc, better to have it and not need it etc etc.
do you shoot/carry or are considering getting a ccw license? I hope to have my new toy in the next couple of months, sooner if possible. once i get it if any of you guys want to go shooting let me know, always a fun time with friends.

Marc, I don't carry and talk lots of **** and have had many run in's in the city on the subway and on the street and have yet to have a need for a gun. Plus I think shooting sometime would make my previous interactions a lot worse.

^i haven't found myself in those types of situations. people just want to **** with white guys on the subway and out in the streets. most of the time it's bull**** and they're not badder than you are. i hate the city which is why i live so far from work.
pete, I hate you so much. I am back to the grind. Recovery day yesterday, didnt wake up until 545pm, pissed I slept the whole day away but much needed rest.
realized today I cant find my backup set of evo keys, making my nerves get to me no doubt. last place I remember seeing them, the ex's, awesome. apartment search it is. hope everyone had a good new years!
