I think E85 smells a lot better than pump gas. I have a gutted cat and I don't think it smells bad at all.
Ryan, I can see if my friend John can see what's available too. He works for a dealership and can get access to pretty much anything and find deals that like Dan said, you won't find on autotrader.

Chip, thanks for the vid. My friend who was co-driving my car last weekend is in the market for an FD, except he wants to swap an LS motor into it. If you or anyone know of any clean examples for sale shoot me some info.

There's a bunch on Cars.com... I didn't look at autotrader but I can't imagine it would be that much different.

Thats the ish right there! A nice LS1/2/3 with a cam and bolt-on's makes for a pretty sweet little ride. I'd be all over something like that.

Thats the thing, i'm not a huge rotary fan but i'm dying to buy a nicely built FD LSx swapped car down the line but i respect a dedicated rotary setup that works like the vid i posted.
Supraforums always has a few nice ones for sale when i was in the buying market a while back so i'd start there.

Marc, whatever happened to your buddy with the S2000 who broke his rear diff at the one Warminster event? Didn't know the guy or the car just always wondered what he did with it cause i hate seeing people break.

I sent him the links on SF already to get his juices flowing. I think he's looking to be more in the $10k range. The two cars I saw were $20k and $30k.

Thats Dan's S2k that broke. We fixed that ish by swapping in a new rear diff and hes been driving it ever since. You don't see him or the car around anymore cause he took a job up at the Milton Hershey school in Hershey, PA. He is giving his 2 week notice this week to go back into business for himself, so he will be back in the area and probably co-driving my car for the rest of the year. We were just talking about the two of us driving his s2k next year... that car is difficult to go fast in and will really help with driver development.

this is true. I think with his price range he's going to have no choice but to settle for an FC or pick another platform all together.

being a drag racer I'm sure you've seen your fair share leave their internals on the line @ Atco... I sure know I have.

anyone see that Pass Time episode on speed where the dude had a rotary and when the announcer guy asked him why he did he choose a rotor car over a piston car, his response was "rotaries are better than piston motors cause they have less moving parts and break less...". Wouldn't you know it, his car BROKE while doing a burnout.

I like how he somehow corner balanced a coilover that supposedly cant be corner balanced. Looks like I'll be running at the next event in july! No parties or birthdays that weekend! Im kinda excited. Hopefully kw can send in my parts before hand so I can get a proper alignment!
