The alpines interface is so drab and mundane, though! Also, everyone says that pioneer has better navigation than alpine. Pioneer has the z series coming out soon, but idunno if i want to wait any longer to pull the trigger (the z is most likely goign to be a full screen.)

 

Just picked up an fq-300, 360, 400 exhaust system used from england. It's a 2.75 inch system with an hks super dragger muffler for 300 shipped! Super stoked to get this on! I dont think anyone stateside has this system

Maybe but I don't know. My wifes family blows. Every summer we spend a ridiculous amount of time on family get together's and the like. Friday was a dinner but that was postponed but I'm sure something will come up.

I found a sweet new v-band design for my 4" exhaust prototype, it's gonna be badass, AND quiet

 

i think the janspeed is just the popular decat pipe for the exhaust. This is just the stock exhaust from the fq series evos

Yes, I found a supplier of interlocking v-band flanges through my searches here at work..It will be impossible for them to ever leak, although they are 100 a pop but I will only use one set. I ordered enough to have spare parts for my car, since we only use 4 through 6 inch ss304 tubing here at work it works out nicely..I am also going to have a stainless resonator as an exhaust tip which I will have some 4 inch tubing formed to be flush with the od of the resonator which is 4.5 od and more then likely either 4 or 4.5 inch section as the tip, well the remainder off the resonator which should only be 2 inches long..

 

It will have one main muffler, one long resonator, and one short resonator.. I just want to have something on the car that I made personally to be honest. Either way I'll be happy knowing it is unique and not over the top lookswise, I will probably coat it black. I really want to show off my TIG skillz so I may just leave it brushed though
