That's my preference too. I really like bronze on red but I've been through 3 brands and they all looked brown and not bronze at all. Since it's 6-8 hours of work to strip wheels I'd rather just do it once. The black chrome I've seen in person and it looks great. They wheels are already hyper black which is essentially black chrome but there's a lot of scratches that would bug the hell out of me.

i like the first one. those wheels wouldn't look good in bronze/brown IMO.

I didn't think I'd like the black chrome but that pic I sent you of it next to the car kind of changed my mind. It's a pain to apply but I'm going to do it.

Yeah, I think you guys are right. This Veyron vs. GT-R was not done right. The Veyron's wing would be out the whole time if it were setup for the high speed track run properly. I remember seeing this video of the activation, tracked it down. (Starts at 49 second mark) Here is the Veyron High Speed track run:

I was very skeptical of that video. The in cockpit view from the Veyron didn't seem consistent with a 1000 HP car accelerating. Watch the trees outside. It just didn't seem to go all out. I've seen other inside out views and it's frightening how fast that thing gets moving from a standstill.

He probably has around 10K in maintenance coming up as he probably killed his pads, boiled brake fluid and will need a change of tires, mere chump change . I remember when Jeremy Clarkson drove it from mainland Europe to the UK, he said it would go through pads and gas like peanuts if you drove like you stole it.

What event(s) this sunday?
I might come up to the meet at GV sunday.
I went to the sonic meet tonight, met DR.EVO with a blue IX. Cleaaan.
I cant wait to get my badbish out on the road 2 more weeks and she"ll be done, Voltex Widebody and all. All I need to finish her up is a Set of Wheels, Some Gauges and Senders, and larger cams for now and a tune. Hopefully I can have this all complete before the first week of july is over.
Then, gotta find a nice big ol'turbo and get my meth kit on + tune.

Damn why can't money be so easily gained as it is in monopoly. haha.

Me too. I think we'll be ok as far as the rain goes, if we were running 3rd heat I'd be a little more worried.
