Pete the Teins are OK at best. I'm not overly happy with them but they were cheap and not the stock springs. I meant to listen to the clunk in your car last weekend. I forgot all about it. I rock the diagnosing.

Well then you get to check out the clunk in my front right...it's gotten progressively worst.

I'm certainly not a suspension expert, but I know that people have seen good results with having Bilsteins valved to work with specific springs.

You won't have to break the bank, and you will see a great return for the investment. You will definitely rape your lip with that driveway, but that doesn't necessarily have to be a deciding factor. Keep you eye open for a clean silver Evo 8 lip, and pick one up to have if you ever need to sell the car.

I think Chu mentioned this as well, but how sure are you that this noise is coming from the front struts. Have you gotten second and third opinions from people who have seen/inspected the car? I would hate to see you go through all this trouble with the struts, to find out the noise was coming from elsewhere.

I had never heard of Clostridium Difficile Colitis. I've never been very comfortable in hospitals, now I'm justifiably afraid. So when visiting a hospital you should be wary of antibiotics and you should never go *** to mouth?
when you're in a hospital **** hits the floor literally and lots of it. and your shoes touch the floor. it is everywhere. i always wash my hands after tying and intying my shoes. i've worked in healthcare for several years and always practiced good hang hygience and have remained disease free............oh ****....no really!!!

fyi, I sold my bilsteins + swift setup to my friend david. They did NOT clunk in my car, but now on his car they have a slight clunk on the driver front.

Is it common for hospital workers to get sick/diseases?

Ben this is not directed towards you per say...

I'm glad all of you have come to the same consensus of what I need to do with my car. All your comments have been noted and thought over...

Truth is I have no idea what is making the noise in the front end, I have had 2 different shops look at it and tell me they can't find anything. Marc drove it, heard it, and gave me some ideas to go on, thats where I'm at. I will be getting a roll-center kit and PSRS kit installed hopefully next week. I'm waiting on a new eccentric bolt to come in (mines effed up) before any of that happens. I would like to swap out the struts then. If the noise is gone, I can see if there is something wrong with the strut and go from there... no need to rush into sending all my shocks out and having my car on jackstands for a month in my garage. I can't deal with that, not after last summers fiasco. I also don't have another $600 to spend on rebuilds ($350 for valving, $100 for strut bearing, if that is the case, shipping, and a new set of springs). I need a new dishwasher, oven and refigerator... I realize those aren't priorities in EvoM world, but in everyday life they are.

Thanks for making me sound like an old man, I'm gonna go sit on my rocker and pet my cat...

Thanks Josh. I've bagged that idea, I was only gonna do it cause it was a cheap option... There isn't a whole lot out there f/s right now.

I always drink tea when Im on my rocker (Earl Gray)

I have some stock suspension laying around that you could borrow if that helps at all.
When I first got my car I got noise from a loose endlink. Im sure you have checked it but just figured I would throw it out there

You guys think I should replace my leaky kitchen roof, or switch to e85

no. we usually get sick less because we're so antiseptic about everything. you do run a higher risk of being exposed to TB or other mycobacterium avium complexes. i don't usually get sick though.

remember that all those patients that are in isolation and negative pressure rooms that i have to were a gown, gloves, and respirator to come into contact with them all end up getting discharged and are free to run around in the community with their highly contagious diseases.

this is why i hate shaking hands anymore.

fist pound FTW! I just showed Luke how to do it at dinner

pete, like I told you before, your priorities are all messed up. seriously... what do you need two dishwashers for?

if I worked in that kind of environment I'd be so paranoid about getting sick I'd make myself sick.

I had a clunk in the rear a few weeks ago and that was the case. I have to put my car on the lift and check it this weekend. I've had the same clunk in the front since the day I bought my car, so I have to figure it out. It kinda went away for a while.
