thanks ... but I'm still going to kick your a$$ for thinking of it
2 year to graduate... was that an associates degree or are you one of those 'gifted' kids who finishes college early?

After high school I was supposed to start @ Drexel for their co-op program, but I got kicked out of the house and stuff so that never happened. I often wonder where I would be had I gotten a degree.

I dealt with his Geico rep directly, and I was less than impressed with them. They were pushing real hard to send me to one of their body shops. After I told him that my car would be going to my prefered body shop, he continued to be less and less helpful.

A few good things actually came out of that accident. I had a '97 VR6 Jetta that I had purchased for cheap because it had some very shoddy body work in the back of the car. When I got hit, the parts of the car that looked bad were the ones that ultimately got fixed. Another good thing that came out of it was that they paid me full MSRP for my JL 12w7. I was getting bored with having an overdone car stereo anyway. I sold my JL 1000/1 Amp to a co-worker, and I basically got out of the system for exactly what I paid for them in the first place. That doesn't happen too often.
VR6 FTW. I used to have a 98 VR6 GTi that I did everything from a direct port n2o kit with a seperate fuel system running on carb pressure to putting a T66 w/AWIC on. That motor was tuff! Made 450whp with a thicker HG and ARP's on the stock block. Not bad for a motor that came with 172hp from the factory. I only drag raced that car though, wish I would have known about HPDE's and Autox's back then.

My dad is also the reason I was able to get USAA. Its worth a shot... they're rates are fantastic and they really do have excellent customer service.

So, am I obligated to let Mr Lockett co-drive my car next weekend? I know he reached out to you Chu but you can't help him. I'm not really that into the idea, if it was one of you guys, fine... not that I have anything against him. More of the fact that I have one more race to get through with my car, and I don't want anything bad to happen. The noise is def getting worse...

Does Fox's Garage do suspension work?

Its your car and your call. There is nothing wrong with telling him NO, IMO. Did he even ask you or are you assuming he'll ask?

I'm not gonna lie, part of me is a little sad I missed out on the whole college experience. While some of my friends were partying it up on their parents dime in school, I was working 3 fu(king min. wage jobs trying to pay for the one room effiency I was renting. Not that I would have been able to party hard or anything, my family has ZERO money and everything would have been on a student loan.

The only good that came outta that situation was that I got a 4-5 year head start in the work force on most people my age. So when my friends were getting out of college and looking for jobs I was already somewhat established in my career.

I went to camden county first. So no, im not gifted... Thankfully drexel gave me nice grant money for having a good gpa at county, otherwise i'd be in tons of debt.

And not having money doesn't stop some kids from partying, they just keep taking out loans.

Pete, if you aren't comfortable, then don't do it. Besides, I'm co-driving your car on the 7th

Pete,

If there is something wrong with your car and your concerned, that it is a non issue to say no to Lockett, he would definitely understand. Besides the fact its your car and your choice, no one should ever get mad about stuff like that.

Yeah, lockett is an angry man, but he wont be offended if no one offers him a ride.

I think he got pretty worked up during first heat. I was scanning bar codes and kept wanted to broadcast "grid, where the h3ll are the cars?" or "what are you doing up there?"

but he has always been cool to me, so I was nice.

Are you confusing Dan and me? Did something else happen to dan's dog and I missed it?
If your talking to me, then its all good, not my dog, I'm just a little sad I didn't get to say goodbye. I talked to my sister this morning, she was pretty upset, lots of tears over there today.

Thanks guys. He hasn't asked me, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. As far as the car, something is def wrong, but it hasn't broken yet.

Also, he has 2nd locked up, neither myself or Bob can catch him.

He can be a little angry at times. He does get fustrated when he's working in grid, seen that.
