why not? is it cause of your clutch issues? If so, all you need to do is be able to shift from 1st to 2nd and you're golden (doesn't have to be a fast shift either, just change gears).
BBS, did you get both the upper & lower piece to the UICP? Does it still say Ralliart on it?
hahah i saw one of those & it was so stupid. No aggressive body work or anything. Just the badges & stripes. Such a let down.
I've been debating picking one of those up for a while but never pulled the trigger the limited amount of times i've seen used ones pop up. It's (to my knowledge) the only off the shelf uicp available in the USA that can be used on my car because of the SAS system. If i needed a UICP i'm sure i could come up with something, but my plans been to have a custom one built in the future.
Just throwing it out there, if you decide to sell it let me know cause i may just pick it up anyway.

its just the uicp unfortunately ): and its stamped ralliart on the top with the intake pressure gauge built in.
My neighbor has that package, I thought it was aftermarket ghey bling.
No! Stay away! it's a nightmare.
i've been looking at random cars. have you seen the wheels on the base camaro ls? holy ugly! if one were shopping for the new mustang, i think it would be more fun to buy a base one for the low 20s and take advantage of the aftermarket....slap a supercharger and other things on and it would be respectable.......well as respectable as a mustang can be.
i am now trying to talk my wife out of a mazda cx-7 or toyota venza and into a used 3 series bmw. i keep seeing black (she wants black....she better learn to wash a car then too) 2007 3 series beemers with like 20k miles for like $23k. that really isn't a bad deal at all especially if you could negotiate a little off the price.

hmmm i'm curious to see a picture of it if you could get one. Not sure off top of my head what you mean by intake pressure gauge built in or why they had to cut it. The VII throttle body should be no different from a VIII/IX. I know i needed a 3" t-bolt clamp to fit around the throttle body side when i upgraded to t-bolt clamps, and the rest i used 2.5" ones.
"One of the most restrictive parts for air flow on the car next to the exhaust is the intercooler piping. With flex material, small diameter, and non-smooth bends, the stock piping is restrictive and holding back much needed horsepower. As I was away at the Gumball 3000 for this install, what I can can tell you is make sure the pipe kit is designed for your EVO VIII. Our Ralliart Intercooler Piping Kit was for a VII and some EASY modification was necessary.
The biggest difference and only piece needed to modify was where the piping connects to the throttle body. We had to cut it shorter about 2 inches. All the other components fit great. The bumper had to be removed obviously to install it, but the other pieces were very easy. The blue silicon joints accented the engine bay nicely and the color matched the engine cover great!
Flow was definitely increased. With quicker throttle response, more torque and power, we definitely noticed a difference with the pipe kit. We will have dyno results soon from the updated modifications. We would definitely recommend this upgrade!"

sri, you can exchange stuff with robert at happy hour on the 18th if you plan to come.
robert, my last car was black. it seemed to always be dirty. i can drive my ww x in torrential downpours for 80 miles and it still looks decent. that is what i did when i went to my first tuning appointment. it looked spotless still until you got really close to it.

That's my plan in the future, just have no need for it yet. I just debated picking up the Ralliart pipe on a handful of occasions because it would bolt rite in, be authentic ralliart, while looking nice for the time being.
Evo's are to easy to buy parts for & make faster, don't forget i'm also rebuilding my talon on the side from almost the ground up so I'm budgeting money & time between them.

I'm not sure, but you can never trust those sneaky Russians. Some commenters are saying look at Draginfo for times. I want to believe it can happen, but with enough road I don't see how the Veyron could ever lose unless it something like the Ultimate Aero SSC. Don't know anything else with 1,000 horses that runs up to 250+.
Throwing this out there cause i'm not 100% sure & would like it cleared up.
Didn't the veyron need a special key to be turned on for it to have its full power potential & top speed unlocked? I could of swore i remember seeing that when they first came out but i honestly haven't looked at any veyron stuff since.
