Fineberg got his but kicked in his own car... That sucks Mike!

You know who my co driver is right? I have no shame losing to him, I consider him my Autox Sensei.
Back to event it was quite disappointing to be there all day in heat to have basically 1 dry run that I got a time on. My second run was a rerun because of timing issues. Then that was that, it was a down-poor after that. That course was fun and I would have really like to have at it. I know I could have ran a better time with five runs. MY only timed run was the first and I was driving quite erratically and not looking ahead enough.

you did pretty well, 13th in PAX, for having only one timed run, I wouldn't be pissed about that. the fact that you waited all day to get one timed run is another story. I have no excuses, I drove like poop and my times reflected that. I was overheating the **** out of those hoosiers. i didn't realize that could happen with one driver. Now I know to bring my tank sprayer with next time.

You like how I left out who it was...

That does suck about the rain, I wouldn't be to happy about that.

I was having thoughts about that after watching a few people spray their A6s down, and wondered if they were spraying theirs down, that my street tires must be really hot. It definitely felt warm compared to how I drove last season, but I didn't give it too much thought since I didn't think I could get the tires hot enough to warrant it.

355s are nice too, but 348 just has that classic Ferrari feel all over...squared bodylines, big side ducts, just love that car. Those early models are when I learned about Ferraris, so I have a place for them.
the owner either is the owner of hg motorcar in dtown or bought it from him. i am guessing he bought it from there because i've been seeing him everywhere lately.

it was nice of him to downshift and floor it on the 30 bypass when we were waiting for a tow truck for cheeco after autox.

So my car has got to a point where I cannot even start get going from a stop without launching it at 4K RPM. I am just using my friend's car in the meantime. SSP still hasn't shipped out the parts, just like I'd expected. If I do not get these parts this week, I'm gonna raise a ****storm on SSP. I'm still dealing with them in a professional manner, but if I don't see something from these guys this week, I'm gonna explode. In the meantime, they send me a ****ing e-mail that says "testing is done, units shipping out this week", the same ****ing thing they've been saying all along. I am so mad.

I hope you guys had a good auto X, no time to read through the thread, gotta get back to work.

I think I was overheating mine... My right front took a beating yesterday, rubber all shedded in sections (no chunking thankfully). My pressures went up 4lbs on eack of the front tires after my first run, started at 36lbs, ended up at 40lbs.

I think I have a sprayer in the basement, I'm gonna have to check and see if it still works.

sri, just put the stock one on with a reinforcement ring and hold out for something that's proven. the stock one with the reinforcement ring has been holding out with a twin disc for 2-4 guys on here.

talk to tim if you don't believe me. he'd been running it for like 2 years now.

I was gaining about the same Pete. Started out around 38, and went up to 43/44 after the first run. I was trying to control it, but a few guys said I need more pressure...

Good to meet another local guy. I look forward to seeing your car completed. My only other advice is to take your time & do it right the first time. Set a legit goal & just work at it. Take everything into consideration, debate the pros/cons and figure out whats best for YOU. Any other question don't hesitate to ask.

That was my only issue with parking inside but i'm VERY happy i did after the multiple storms rolled through. I made it home maybe 5 minutes before another huge one rolled through my neighborhood.

I didn't adjust mine after the first run, I thought I would see how it felt with the pressures up, those pics Carson posted are of that run... Waaaaay to much rear rotation. Didn't care for the way the fronts felt either...

You didn't change pressures the whole event?
