Someone has to help me decide on a turbo set up. I"ll be at GV around noon tomorrow, anyone runnning meth + aftermarket turbo's pleaseeee give me some tips on your setup and what to get. Im lost with what to do. Im working my but off so money shouldnt be an issue, but I want something that wont cause me to get nailed by a Semi when I pull out infront of it due to the slow spool.
But I want decent numbers

.
I have a customer having excellent results from a 2.4 and PTE5857.I have heard about the "hit or miss" situation one too many times. I find that odd since Ivey has so many years of tuning under his belt.
CBRD spends most of their time on the forum promoting their parts, but the majority of their tuning feedback has been positive. (even though there arent too many tuning reviews on them)
Petey seems to be making a lot of members happy with his tunes lately. Problem is, that he only works at KHC on Saturday. I'd feel a lot better if you had access to your tuner through out the week.

FYI my boss also wants to kill me for skipping out of work to tune cars, unfortuneately no 4wd chassis dyno here
But I always support my customers and I have tuned many cars free of charge over email tunes before they get to the dyno, with a combined price of hundreds less then typical evom "e-tunes". I am one of the rarities on this forum as I do not advertise, or have any sort marketing skill whatsoever.
The general concensus is that most tuners/shops are not too fond of me, but I have yet to hear of anyone "fixing" any of my work. All I will say is that I highly reccomend being tuned on an eddy current dyno or the street, because anything else is making a sacrifice unless you daily drive your car downhill with no wind resistance
ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu
Petey. You won't be disappointed. I've seen tunes from him and both of your other suggestions. One of the 2 was flat out garbage and the other was IMO way way too conservative and had an easy 30-40 WHP more available had he pushed it just a bit. Petey will give you a great tune that's safe. He is a loud talker and is one of the most hyper people I ever met but it's worth it. (joking)
Actually after a few drinks I turn into what I hear is a very personalbe person lol
so i was on bimmerforums again try to find basic info on 3 series because it seems that all technical info shrouded in mystery and the owners don't know ****.
of the 1000s of thread about oil changes, they keep mentioning getting an "oil change kit." so i am thinking "ok maybe you need special tools to do an oil change on one." Wrong! these stupid kits consist of oil and a filter and a wrench bit to fit the oil filter.
f'ing pussies.
