Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I spent 2 hours stripping, then close to 3 hours painting my calipers with that G2 stuff. It was a lot of work but that paint is awesome. It brushes on, and looks like crap at first but once it starts drying, it flows out and looks like a powder coateded finish. I've done a few spray finishes, but I will never do it again. As long as this stuff is as resilient as I've read, it's well worth all the time and $40.

Its all good, just 7-12 today. Gotta make a little extra loot so I can afford to go play.
Ithaca Excelsior Thirteen is pretty tasty btw, had two of them last night at TDR. Strongly recommend trying it if any of you have the chance.

it appears the clutch master cylinder is going. it was giving me trouble in dover and thought the line just needed be rebled. i stalled at the start a couple of times and looked really cool. it's still drivable but from what i've read they just pop and then you're screwed. i ordered a ix cmc with a conversion kit for a X and awaiting my j-spec install.
i was kidding about codriving your car. i may have someone already lined up for that.

also there aren't many details about the signs of them breaking. most people just post that "it's broken blah blah mitsu sucks and i'm 5 years old." (i love how people just jump to the mitsu is a POS company etc....kind of immature if you ask me.)
it feels spongey (hard to describe) when the pedal is pressed close to the floor and the clutch engages super fast really close to the floor so you have to either almosts launch it or slip the hell out of it just to get moving. i brought it to josh's yesterday to bleed it and there was a little air in the line so i felt it was solved. the pedal felt very firm again. then i started it. with the car running it felt even more spongey so josh feels it's the cmc.
i'm not surprised and prefer to have tried the AMS reinforcement ring first like i did rather than just jump on the forum band wagon and just replace it while it was still working. i'm just not willing to get stuck somewhere or have a nice mess of brake fluid running down the firewall to clean up.
