That was probably my buddy Josh. He was probably giving you/Mike a hard time... he drives an STi... and yes it would've been a joke.

it seemed like a subie owner comment. i figured it was a joke but i didn't know the guy or was sharp enough at the time to have a good come back. i usually in a fog at autox with it being early and on a weekend and having to focus on various things.

i never thought of looking there. i'm going to spend this week looking at places like that.

as i mentioned my wife and i are looking at larger cars (for the dog and such) and i can't believe that i run the same sized wheel/tires on my evo as they do on suv/crossovers and i still consider 255/xx/18 to be on the smaller side for a X.

its not a difficult job, but does require some attention to detail. the good news is that we work first, always, so once your job is done you're free to run and leave if you like.

edit: throwing this out to the EVO guys before I make an official post on the SCCA forums.
ill do it. what time do i need to get there? which dates do you need?

Marc, you forgot to mention the chief of tech is a real a-hole that never shows up. He leaves it up to his minions to run the show while he's off at some road course...

BTW, are you handing the baton for the tour as well, if you won't be there?

Good to know. Well I am not a member of SCCA so it looks like I just need to create an account and pay 50 bucks.

i thought everyone already knew what an ******* that guy is. I used to think he was cool, but turns out he's a real douch.

are we hosting the tour? if not I/we won't need to do anything.

btw I'm going to need your help with anual tech again on Sunday, from 8-8:30.

you don't have to be a member to register, but they will charge you an extra $15 for a weekend membership if you aren't. if you're planning on doing a bunch of events its probably more cost effective to just join.

Tim i checked the sam's club website and the cheapest dunlop tire they have listed is $49ish. are you sure this wasn't like some in-store only special?
