reading this makes me want to get a miata and drop a LS motor into it.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/auto...d-the-z06.html

seems like a lot of work but the fun factor is off the charts.

I would totally do it if I had the free time and the space for the donor car & miata and the free time to do it all and enough free time.

I am a sucker for hard parking events. I plan on being there. I know a few other guys from the Reading area going too.

Will your car be running by then?

That's the million dollar question. I assumed it would be in the car by now but the oil pump isn't priming which aggravates me to no end. That's an hour of BS then the tbelt goes on and I can drop it and the trans in as one assembly. It will be at least close by next weekend if not running. I need it done next week. I'm borrowing a friends car and now he HAS to sell it immediately which means I need mine done yesterday. Anyone want a cheap Evo 8?

i was reading on the ever insightful subaru forums (better than bmw forums) and they're talking about being able to "disable" awd to run as fwd by inserting fuse somewhere on the older models?

i thought awd systems were all mechanically connected. anybody know anything about this?
