Annoyed... No car again for Sunday!!!!!!!
Had that bish all back together last night, started it and then heard a not so good noise from the clutch that was just completed. So everything has to come out and be disassembled to see WTF is going on.... UGGGGHHHH I did not get to sleep last night unitl 5 am reading about Exedy twin clutch install problems.

Other things that have gone wrong with my car this year that are pissing me off:

Cannot get replacement ball joints that are BSP legal (cant use whiteline) have to replace the entire control arm, that is $520 from mitsu!

driver side wheel bearing is not coming out, I watched Adam put the entire unit on his shop press with a torch on it and it still would not come out. Passenger side was no big deal, driver side is all rusted and corroded to the point where he is saying that I will have to cut it off and possibly will need a new axle. Amazing thing is it seems not to be binding, but I would like to replace both wheel bearings at same time....

Mike, that sucks. The whole balljoint thing is a bit ridiculous.

I hope it get all sorted out.

Do you think you'll end up ponying up the cash to just buy the things you mentioned just to have it fixed rather than fight with it?

James, I have a set of 10mm spacers somewhere in my garage... just need to find them. I also have a set of 15mm spacers on my EVO right now you can try, but I'll need your 20mm to borrow in return so I can fit my wheels. Bring your stuff with on Sunday and I'll bring all my stuff and we'll get it worked out.

Mike sorry about your car, that sucks mang. nothing seems to ever go as planned.

No I will just run bad ball joints. Funny thing about Evos, one pair of BJ's in front, upper and lower BJ's in rear. Non of them are serviceable according to Mistu, all arm assemblies must be replaced not just BJ's. Talk about adding to the expense of maintaining a car! I would bet all BJ's on my car need to be replaced, so for now I am just leaving it unless someone finds replacements that actually work. I will address this later when I either move car or just pony up for all new arms.\

I replaced tie rod ends which were totally wasted too. The old ones were easily moved around by hand, new ones were stiff as could be and very hard to budge at all.

Mike, new LCA's can be had for $235 each direct from Mitsu. Not that it helps your situation. Just saying.

Dan,

I have a medical question and need your opinion. My son's pediatric dentist wants to fill 2 cavities and he will need to be put under. She wants to send us to CHOP to take care of this (no anesthesiologist on staff in her office), what do you think of putting a 4 year old under for cavities? Should we wait until he's older?

Well thats better but it just irks me to have to spend double the cost of Whiteline kit. Replacement ball joints from Moog are like $30 each. I thought I saw lca's for $265 each from Mitsu parts shipped, guess I was wrong.
