I need front control arm ball joints and I cannot run the Whiteline Roll Center Correction kit in BSP. Anyone have some laying around they are not using? > Chu?

Mike, the ball joints on the Evo are not serviceable with Mitsu parts from what I understand. Some people have said about using ones from a Montero, or other cars. Sorry, no help here.

The ball joints are not sold separate from control arm from Mitsu. They are serviceable though, look at the Whiteline Roll Center Correction kit. Problem is they offer nothing but the extended height Roll Center's that I can't use.

Adam said I would need to find a used set of front control arms to remove stock pieces.

Another option I read online is that you can repack the grease in the ball joint. Has anyone ever done that, if so what grease and how did you do it?

Sleep, who needs sleep...

That's what I meant by saying they're not serviceable. I believe there are other Mitsu cars and some GM that share the same part. Check with R/T Ernie. I believe he has doen them

Mike its a long shot but give Josh or Mark @ LIP Collision and/or Vince @ RT/Tuning a call and see if they have any left over joints laying around. If you want to be really gay mention my name and see what they can do for you. I know both those shops have done a bunch of RCK installs and might have something laying around...

this is decent advice. vince kept mine saying they're shot from removal and pete g was just there and probably left his stock ones behind too (they're the same part between the viii ix and x's).

i should have just told him to throw them in the box anyway.

how is it that LCA balljoints can't be bought separate from the LCA? aren't balljoints routinely replaced on old or heavily used cars?
