That's how it is for the damn e30's. You can't get the joints from the dealer but Napa or other part stores would have them. It's not the arm that goes bad, its the joints. But they just don't want to sell them separately.

mike, they probably are the same part for the lancer and evo. mitsu uses the same parts all through their line up.....it's a little ridiculous.

i did some reading and mitsu states that the balljoints are not intended to ever be removed from the LCA. i guess they feel they are so good that they never fail or if they do fail that the LCA probably has taken enough of a beating to need replacing as well....which is a little out there.

Just called RT and spoke to Eric who put me on hold and spoke to Vince. The only solution it seems is to use a ball joint for another car in place of stock. They are going to measure a Whiteline kit to see if they can find a match for a different car. They are calling me back later today, so that was cool of them to try and help me out.

You can come stay at my small overpriced apt. and we can ninja chop people before I move back to Philly!

There is a lot of ninja chopping potential out here too.

Well every 'bro' out here has a lifted truck and they make sure the tires are always armor alled and shiny. It snowed an inch on base and there were 4 lifted trucks that had crashed within a mile. I thought that was funny. I get really happy when I see a lifted truck with mud on it. Can we just steal one of theirs and BIGFOOT stomp style crush those cars and then throw some ninja moves down? Then we go to the bar

Tim, I ordered a bunch of stuff from that link you posted and 75% of it was wrong. they sent me brake parts for a lancer wagon along with some very weird looking rear rotors. Only part that was correct was one pair of front rotors. I've been trying to contact them about returning everything for over a week now but my emails and phone calls have gone unanswered.
