Who wants to take a ride with me Sunday morning to help diagnose the noise my car makes?

Originally I thought it might be drivetrain related but I don't think so anymore, I was jaming on the brakes earlier and it was doing it then, but it still seems too random to me...

Could it be the calipers moving? Did you tighten that down pretty good? Just throwing out random thoughts

If you have any free time Sat give me a call. We can go for a ride and then throw it on the lift and look around?

There's a weird breakup that occurs from injector pulse width dropout on the speed density rom generally around 2000-3000 RPM. I had it all through the rev range though at part throttle. It's annoying as hell trying to accelerate into traffic and getting only a sputter unless you go WOT.
No i did not switch to SD yet, Petey said that the will be no gains with my turbo. I hope new set of spark plugs will fix the problem.

Pete, I've had a weird clunking sound in the front of my RS for a while. It seems to come and go, but I haven't heard it for a while. It seems to occur when I'm moving at very slow speeds (like pulling into a parking spot) when the steering wheel is turned nearly all the way in either direction. We've checked it at my shop numerous times without finding anything. I had searched the forums for said noise, and it seems to be fairly common. I never found a consensus as to the cause.

Are you going to Grill on Sunday? If so, let me know what to bring.

There tight...

The noise first started last year at the last CBP event. I just did brakes two weeks ago.

It went away for a little while, but its back in full force now. It happens at all speeds, if I jab the brakes it will do it, if I gas it right after jabbing the brakes it will do it again, both decel and accel.

Its f-ed up... I'm interested to see what some of you say when you hear it yourself...

so i couldn't stand seeing my clean newly tuned on e85 car sit in the garage any longer so i took it out and let it rip on 340 and 82.

It's friggin awesome!! I even have torque steer now (could be my crappy tires letting it happen excessively though).

It occurred to me on my excursion that we need to plan another cruise. There are so many good country roads out here for it.

Let's try to plan for sometime in April. I could do it as early as Saturday, April 3rd.

Who's interested?

How about you put some of that power to use at the autox this weekend.

With that said, who's going to be using the launch control with me this weekend?
