Dan, ride with me next time and we'll see. LOL

i got it on video, wonder if any sound will come through. it was only 7 laps. he asked me to pull in and as i was entering pit lane, he let it go. i feel bad for him cause that probably ruin his whole day, once you get sick it hands around a while. he said he used to Kart before.

Thai, I'll ride with you on trackdaze if I can. Maybe I cod skip out of work early enough and get there for a session on thursday. I'm not normally known for having motion sickness.

My wife is a different story. We can't ride on backroads or else she get sick. It's super lame.

I hope he didn't get anything in the car.

I almost puked the very first time I went for a 'real' ride around shenandoah in my friends TT. up until that point I had NO idea what a car could really do in the right hands. After my ride I had to sit out my next session cause I was still feeling sick

got some on the seat and harness but he did clean it up. i took the seat pad out to wash.

i've only got nauseous in a car one time. it was in a students M3 with Rcomp tires. the seat was mounted very low and extra wide. so i couldn't see much over the dash and was sliding around in the seat. i was also feeling a little under the weather that day to begin with. almost threw up but i held it in and told him i couldn't go out with him anymore for the rest of the day.

^ FU!

I just did my prep for PCA on Thurs-Fri. my XP12s are totally shot! Can't believe they only lasted 3 f'ing days on street tires. I get twice that life outta the 10s.

I love these cars. all you have to do is regular maint. and keep an eye on your consumables and you're good to go. I drained my trans & tc fluid and with 6 total days it looked just like the fresh fluid i put in. TC had zero metal shavings and the trans had very little too. I'm going to try stretching the flush to 8-10 days and see how it is. I just feel guilty sometimes beating on the car for 30 min at a time that i think the fluid is beat but in realiy it holds up very well. Using redline HW shockproof in the TC and Redline MT-90 in teh trans. both very good stuff IMO.

wow, you only 3 track days from xp12, that's odd

yeah, changing fluids early is good insurance. once the gears are bad, there's no going back. the fluids might look clean but you can't tell how it is molecularly. i usually change tran twice as often as i change tcase and diff. tran fluid is easy to change like engine oil. tcase is a pain because fluid is thick for the hand pump and you have to drive around and refill it. rear diff is pretty easy also.

I got the Viper 5901 installed by Chris from GV. He did a quality job - knows Evos inside out. Thanks for the recommendation.

awesome video. gonna turn on the dvr now

in other news my less than 1 year old deka is already dead. not sure why, it was working fine 5 days ago. I don't think I left anything on in the car.

I'm in the market for a durable 'not so heavy' battery that I can get my hands on before wednesday if anyone has any suggestions...

i agree. engine, trans & rear are easiest. TC is a pita cause of the downpipe, especially if you have it wrapped.

except for waiting on a pcv valve for the catch cans and needing a battery I'm good to go for NJMP this thrus-friday. depending on how hard I drive I might be needing some rubber before the trackdaze event.

thanks again Dan for letting me bed your pads in for you, I promiss I'll give them back good as new.
