Nothing, my husband just has to do the maintenance/tuneup. My husband is in the army and not in the state plus its a lot to have for insurance.

That sucks, sorry to hear. Did you get a bulls eye, or just weren't feeling well. I'm sure that others would know better than me, but isn't Lyme disease often misdiagnosed?

Ouch! Zing!
STFU! The pads worked really well for that one lap around the block I made before I had to yank the head off.
It looks like maybe this weekend I can put the new head on thanks to the sandbox. Just waiting on MAP to send some new head studs and a head gasket.

Speaking of which, does anyone need a used 87mm bore head gasket and stretched head studs?

I tried xp10's in the front and DS2500's in the rear and it SUCKED on my car. braking at more than 70% would instantly activate ABS.
the DTC60 is equivalent to XP10 and DTC70 is equivalent to XP12.
my car has no interior, so weight distribution is not the same as stock evo. much less weight in the rear. and i dont have ABS, so i'm in deep **** when the rear locks up first.

i've been to 4 track event this year and have tried 4 different pad setup.

ST43/ST43 - rear lock up pretty every time i brake hard
DTC70/DTC60 - rear lock up , but less than previous setup
DTC70/RB ET800 - rear lock up when i trail brake
DTC70/Autozone - pretty balanced, rear only lock slightly on uneven track surface.

i'll might switch around with the front pads but i'm going to stay with the autozone rear pads (they work for my setup and they are free )

Ben, don't go there about Lyme. Ok I will!

MS and other demyelinating conditions are often initially diagnosed as Lyme disease.

There I said it!

Don't believe or worry about stuff unless it's progressive. Google it to scare the **** out of yourself.

There's even some wackos that claim their research led them to a common etiology for Lyme and MS but the research is unscientific and rejected by modern medicine.

I have marks all over me and I've had a headache for 4 days. I'm sure I'll recover, its just effing weird, marks dont hurt. Seems like more of an inconvenience than anything.

Josh, did the headstuds have to do with the failure?

Theres been an outbreak of measles but I sure that living in a first world country in the 1970s would have resulted in immunizations unless your parents were hardpcre hippies!

I have a coworker with bad Lymes and he is a mess. It hit the kid hard. He suffers from chronic exhaustion which seems to be the worst symptom.
I noticed once the old head studs were off that they were beat up on the threads badly. I've had them off and on a good 12+ times by now which stretches the threads. I'm sure that didn't help with the head gasket blowing, but it's not likely they were the cause.

Pete, sorry to hear you got lyme, that sucks. My dog just had it a few months bag, we got antibiotics from vet and he is good to go.

I am chronically exhausted too, not sure if I should get tested for lyme or just quit the herbs. Dan, thoughts?

I'm always exhausted too but that's just because I'm taken from my bed every night by aliens and they probe my ***.

I've been exhausted ever since I was working 40 hour weeks. It started with clinicals as a student.

Not being a student sucks. Realizing that adult living consists of 40 hour work weeks sucks. Getting older and fatter sucks.

My next door neighbor's got the life. He doesn't make as much as my wife and I each do but works a very flexible schedule. He has three kids and is a great dad. I'll come home early from work and he's got an obstacle course set up in the yard that he improvised for the kids. Anyway my point is that he's happy with what he has and earns. He's a realtor and recently got a 2.9 million listing and he said to me "I'd love to break into the high end market. I'd only have to sell 2-3 homes a year." No ambition to make tons of cash but just wants to maintain what he's got.

Sorry for the rambling. I'm suffering from early onset dementia.

real estate commission on a 2.9 million dollar listing will yield him around 80,000 on a single sale (can vary depending on firm). Imagine a person's salary in one transaction!

my bro and dad are in real estate and my brother is a lazy **** but in one commercial sale, he made my year's salary.

Any of you chumps need tires fo yo twenties??? Seriously. I've got a set of 275 width fuzion ZRi tires that came on my truck's factory 20's (bought it used). Stock size for 2007 up silverados, sierras, rams, etc. They have a ton of tread, but I can't have summer only tires on my 4x4 year round. Switched them out to some Cooper LTZ's and have no need for them. Let me know if anyone wants them or knows someone that does.
