Sonofa*****. LCA bolt just broke while adjusting the camber. This was the bolt on the right rear, so I wonder if it was weak and let the camber move during the tour. Either way, need to find a new one or no autox for me tomorrow.

Shoe, I have all my old bolts from the rear that I just replaced, you can have them. I have my parents here, so I cannot meet you. Call me if you want to come get them..

They should be good for a temporary fix and just order new ones from Mitsu. The nuts are bigger now than they used to be, its a more beefy set up to hold the rear alignment.

Video's from yesterday....

Taken by Mathieu in a E46 M3. We're basically the same speed wise, he didn't want me to point him by, he was having a good time taping the battle.

This our 4th session at Lightning.

That was fun. Spent some time with the fam, then went to work on the car. Got it together and aligned pretty well for not having the camber bolt. We'll see how it holds tomorrow. New bolts all around next week...

That looks like a heck of a good time battling out with the M3. What kind of setup is that with all the electronics on the video showing lap times, tach, speed, and even the course layout. I am impressed.

Dead in here...everyone is out racing!! While I am off to a family picnic with the out-laws...

Got around to putting my wideband in today, how much do they move? Mine wont stay still constantly moving all over the place. My idle is like 14.8-15ish. And my i engine break the gauge wont even read it so its over 17. UGH

Dane, that's normal for it to jump all around at idle and go blank or full lean when you let off the throttle.

Cruising it should stay around 14.6ish. If you were tuned at a certain afr for wot you should see that when full on flooring it past 4k-ish rpms to redline

It was great seeing everyone today.

Aaron, it was good to finally speak to you in person. I'm still throbbing a little bit.

I'm pretty convinced my tune make autox difficult. Fineberg was saying to get an autox tune. When I co-drove tim's X, I had a blast because his turbo spooled at lower rpms and more gradually. Mine spools a very little bit then really spools hard at 4k rpms then I find myself understeering and drifting around turns. Or I go slow and steady and run much smoother. Idk. My driving has a lot to do with it but the car set up contributes to my slowness.

At the track it isn't a problem because I'm able to wind it out before having to get on the brakes again.

Today was rough... it just took forever. I have sun poisoning on both my hands, worse on the left. Reasonably happy with my driving. Congrats to Mike, Aaron and Ben (bastard)!

Sun poisoning? Damn! I had that a few times. You know you have it when you wash the area then put lotion on and there is this deep incredibly irritating itch/stinging like where you would rather rip your skin off to feel better.

In other news: I didn't use sunblock today but used a regular lotion with an SPF and was fairly ok. Sumblock just goops up things. Mix that with sweat and alcantara plus a helmet, I'm glad it worked out without having to bust that out.

Soooo long of a third heat today. Wish my driving got better as the runs went on, but I apparently drank the wrong koolaide after my second run. Pushing to hard and going off line ftl. Nice driving by Mike, laying it down on his last run to make it clear who won the $5
