Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
guys, just wanted to let you know I talked to the vendor who sells the pads and the deal is real, but we need to keep this close to the vest so the deal doesn't vaporize. he will honor his price as long as he can but if some people find out they might attempt to put a stop to it.
Props to Pete for finding the deal! Don't know how you find these obscure sites!

also, on Raybestos website, they have same part number for both evo and sti pads. but Carbotech have different part number for evo and sti. so i think that Raybestos went cheap and made the pads thin to fit both cars to keep inventory down. we need measurement of new Carbo pads vs. Raybestos pads to confirm this.
he is the deal master, next to Chu.
I would go so far as saying go back and edit all the posts that reference this deal (vendor name, number and the whole nine). lets keep this between us.

THat may be true Thai. Marc, could you chime in with your experience on pad thickness from Carbo. I remember Dan saying the pads for his car was really tight fitting. Does Carbos comes slightly thicker than the stock size? Which is an added benefit.
Someone take a chance and get ST45s or 47s, if they are the same price, so we have a clue as to the difference. Anyone buying multiple sets should consider this for the benefit of the group.
I wish I had that measurement handy but I don't. I did ask the daminal to measure his new carbo pads. His ***** is exactly 15mm long when errect, so that will be a good gauge for whether its bigger or smaller.
i cant stop laughing.....I have this customer at work with an 07 impala ss 5.3 v8. He comes in today and said i need nitrous and I need it by next week. He said he is racing a infinity g35 for 2 grand. He pulled out a wad of cash and said "If you can find anything else for it do it." I love my job
