Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Doesn't get more effed up than that... Walking home alone at that time of night probably isn't a real good idea either. Its a shame.
Wasn't trying to sour the mood, please move on to happier subjects.
Guns are cool. *beavis & butthead voice*

My sister got robbed and pistol whipped walking home alone in manayunk a few years ago. My one buddy got a rope wrapped around his neck and a gun to his head and robbed when walking home from old city. He like right around 3rd and Cherry. He moved out to conshohocken within 5 days of that happening.
Chu, maybe coming from where you're from you see it differently but I don't see any benefit to carrying a gun. If someone starts something with me I'm not going to pull my gun or even shoot someone and deal with the mess afterwards. I guess maybe if I saw myself in a do or die situation frequently I would feel differently. Now keeping one in the house to defend yourself is a different story.

Chu, once you get one that will be all the motivation you need.
The world is a ****ed up place. Anything can happen to anyone at anytime. Most times its a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I've seen it before and I'm sure all you guys have too. IMO, I would rather have protection with me and NEVER need to use it instead of needing it and not having it. What is that saying 'when seconds count, the police are only minutes away'.
I also think having kids changes things, at least it did for me. Their safety and well being became my number one concern and I would kill, literially, if anyone tried to jepordized that. I couldn't live with myself if something happening to my wife or kids that I could have prevented if I had protection.

i was hoping to have some info to post about the PCD track day, but as of 10 minutes ago I'm still ironing out all the details with NJMP. I should have everything wrapped up early next week and I will make a post with all the info and any questions I have. I don't want to jump the gun or anything, but NJMP is being very helpful and I've got a pretty good feeling this event will happen!
It really is addicting. I have two and want to get more.
After not watching Beavis and Butthead for years, I forgot how funny it was. I'm glad it's back on.
