btw, was in new hope couple weekends ago
couldn't help but notice triumph brewery newly redone, with a rather large parking lot right behind it...
not to mention new hope seems to be the place to come out on a nice weekend and show off the fancy motorized vehicles, thought we could show em a thing or two by getting together another brewery cruise

ne1?

stock KW is 170mm (6.6929 in) front 9kg springs, 200mm (7.874 in) 6kg springs.

Does anyone know of a place that can rebuild a turbo local quickly and do a good job? I'm wanting to rebuild this 30r before I put it on the car. But have really limited time.

Hmmm, would have never though any they would use different length springs. In anycase, length doesn't matter, it's the I.D.

I'm about to just order the mild setup from gtworx. They want 210 shipped for their own rates. People say they are rumored to be 8/10. I think 10/12 would be pushing it for street tires?

ek9evolve - you think just flipping the springs would be a bad idea? 6/9 instead of the 9/6?

*someone please sig my post earlier. I cant self quote myself cause thats far too toolish.

6k in front is way to soft. Just order a set (2) of Hyperco springs in the 60mm I.D in 10k. 9k front and 10k rear should do well. I didn't search it, but knowing Andrew, he would not keep those GT Worx rate a secret. He has commented on that before, so pm him and fidn out the rates

^ yea no he def advertised it in the original for sale post of the spicy/mild setup spring rates
If you are attempting to do any sort of track duty BBS, get the spicy. There really is not much to compromise on a daily basis with the added stiffness of the spicy. Plus it is cheaper than the mild setup.

Food for thought

And yes 6k front is too soft for that damper and yes Andrew is awesome when it comes to asking questions. He's always been helpful.
And to your comment on putting on 12k springs, yea it is pushing the extreme upper limits of a street tire. But it also is too much for that damper to handle, you'd be signing its death certificate surely with that setup.

So my plan is to nab a 10k 60mm 7inch hypercoil spring and slap that on the rear and use the 9k in the front. Then im going to randomly set the compression and rebound differently on each strut randomly. Video to follow.

Anyone planning to run the Test & Tune this Sunday at Warminster must be an SCCA member and register online at motorsportreg.com. The organizers are limiting the event to 45 drivers.

I'm registered for both the 18th T&T and the 25th event at CBP.

I'm up in the air whether I'm running or not on Sunday, but I'll probably show up to help out and make fun of your setup.
