I like to use the eye ball method. I park next to a wall and estimate how far my tires are leaning in for camber. Then I walk around the front of the car, crouch down and look at both front tires at the same time to estimate toe. Where you crouch is very important, as being too close will not let you see both tires at the same time. Also, you have to be on the center line of the car. I usually find about 1/4mi from the tip of the front bumper as the best distance. Repeat for rear toe, only you obviously stand behind the car. Don't forget to turn around and face your car, otherwise you might be measuring toe on your neighbor's car instead of your own.

Hey AIB, looking at the GVC WGI event, registration is not open yet or what? I know they're caping the field to 60 drivers, just want to figure out what I need to do to register... They also state you need to be a BMW CCA member, that aight gonna happen.. Just curious on your thoughts about all that?
Caster is tricky. I'd tell you my method, but it took a long time to develop and I'm keeping it a trade secret. I will say the hellaflush angle is a step in the right direction.

I don't know what the deal is. I did it backward and signed up for the Sept. WGI event w/GVC first instead of the May event. My reg is still pending for the May event. Once they realize I am in their system as an approved instructor I should be good to go for both.
No, but you might need a valid license.

Once you get on 10, make sure you go through the figure 8, sweep back around to 23, ricer flyby the Sonic, hardpark. You'll know it when you're there.

I just checked the reg list for both GVC WGI events and its pretty full. 248 people reg'd over three days. I think they are counting some people more than once, though.
3 days @ WGI = Nguyen!
3 days @ WGI = Nguyen!
I am reg'd for all three but have a project due at work on the 4th, so I may only be able to do two. Its a haul up to WGI so I have my fingers crossed I'll be able to get three days in.
