I finally got to test out the Bilstein Swift R spec combo on my car. Not sure if you guys are familiar with Virginia Dr. in Ft. Washington, but its a nice little road that is like a road course. I really was pushing the car on the way to Warminster Autox, Sunday morning at 7:30 there is no one out really. Anyhow I was fooling around trying to see if I could get the car to under-steer. To my surprise it really does not under-steer much at all, I really had to come in way hot to induce it. On throttle at corner exit the car even stepped out nicely at around 80 mph in third gear. I also autox it 3 runs yesterday at the Novice school. It was surprising composed out there, I was on brand new Star Specs. Obviously they are not as good as Ohlins Flags and Star Specs do not grip like R compounds, but car handled well with the set up on there now.
Ride comfort is way better than Ohlins but a little off from stock, still rides a little rough, but totally liveable for now. Really curious to see how the car does at a track day. I think this combination of suspension and tire will be a lot of fun for myself.

No Plasti-dip. Staright-up sand, primer, and paint. The paint is specific to trim use, and it laid really well. Chau did a good job buying material. It was really his idea to do it.

Your car will get around a track just fine with that set-up. My car gets around pretty damn good for having only springs, don't need no stinkin coilovers, mang!

Now sign up for the TrackDaze event!

^^^Hahaha, nah, he did some work. I really didn't want to do anything to the BMW, but he insisted on painting them. I'm hesitant to do some mods to it just for warrantee reasons. BMW has been really good to me with all the warratee work, and I don't want to ruin that over dumb sh*t. But it turned out well, and I'm happy.

Word on the street is WG BMW doesn't care about mods.

They actually complimented me on my interior wrap job
