PCD Warm Tire Domination is on!

I just have to get the car on jack stands, remove the wheels, remove the undertray and trans brace, pull the axles out of the hubs, remove the downpipe, remove the intake and solenoids and Ecu and uicp, loosen all the motor and trans mounts, buy an engine hoist, order cams, ship the trans to shep, buy a long block and overnight it all from japan. Marc is coming over to laugh at me and spark some trees. Then put it all back together on Thursday and Friday I'll be grilling in Millville.

^ Was that sarcasm directed towards me?

I do not have that much to do actually. The hardest thing will be running the brake ducts, which should not bet to difficult. AC Fan just 3 bolts and 2 plugs, easy speezy (so I can sit in air conditioning prior to running my lapz fool). I am installing my track pads and 2 piece rotors for braking domination, not too hard either.

My house is for sale and I was informed by wifey we have someone coming to look today, so instead of dominating my car last night, I dominated my lawn. It was hot out, I was sweatin like a pig. Thought I would have energy to get started on car, but my oldness made me tired. Tonight and tomorrow its on..

If you add the weight of wires you had to run to be able to relocate battery to trunk is it still worth it? I could have done that with mines and decided against that because it was actually adding weight, albeit it is in better location located in rear of car.

i had Honda size battery in the front (for mad Vtak) which was about 2/3 the size of oem battery. i went with a Deka EXT18L which is even smaller, and the new battery tray is even lighter. i used 4 gauge wire, which is probably 2 lbs total. but the main purpose was to get the weight off the noise of the car. i would say about 20 lbs is removed from the front. plus i'm getting a slim fan, so that's probably another 5 lbs off the front. will look into relocating the ACD pump to rear latter on. that should be about another 10 lbs off the front.

by the time i'm done relocating the engine to the rear, i would have a 50/50 weight distribution Evo. mad turn in speed son.

If the house didn't sell yesterday that we were trying to buy. I would of had my 2.2 acres and oversized 2 car garage and installed a 4 post and brought over my compressor, welding rig, and tools from my glenmoore garage location. Back to the drawing board I suppose.
