I might go. Was planning on doing the novice class, but it seems that I've promised to do something else Saturday.

Sjr is a much different crowd. Lots of subie's, american and junkyard cars (some of which are fast).

I'm interested in seeing how the competition is in BSP.

I thought the redstuff was a track pad?

The descriptions for the pads on different sites say they are for "fast road & track" or "repeated heavy braking". They probably are more track oriented but that's fine by me.

i was thinking that too but i don't plan to do mine this weekend. mine will take way less time than his (brembo ftw).

robert, when you're ready to do your pads, you're welcomed to do them in my garage. i'll do mine at the same time.

chu, you're welcomed to come hang out and help robert out.

^i DONT plan to do them this weekend. maybe next saturday. we'll see how it goes though

i need to get these new pads in before i attempt autox. i nearly died a few times yesterday with these magic pads. they don't do a good job of stopping but they like to squeak. i wonder if they're glazed or something......a pad can't be this bad!

I autox'd on mine a few times, and it definitely isn't as bad as yours sound...that only means you need to do them TODAY!

On another note, Pete felt the stopping power of the 800s over the weekend...

I DON'T plan to do this weekend.

the 8th is fine with me. let me run it by the gastapo and i will let you know

RA calipers are the typical/standard calipers right? like the ones that you need to pull off the rotor to install the pads?

chu, how's the 8th sound to you?

Chu stomped on the brakes a few times when I was in the car, they did feel like they had more bite than my ET500's. I'd have to drive the car though to really make a comparison.

Chu, I'm gonna give you a shout later about that thing I mentioned on Sunday.
