TGIF.

what is everyone upto this weekend? I'm trying to do something special for Karen on mothers day since it will be her last one with just one baby.
any ideas??
Not sure what to tell you to do for her. A trip to a Day Spa is always a favorite of the ladies, with short notice though they might be pretty booked.

As far as the weekend is concerned, tonight were taking my buddy out who did a lot of the work at my house. Taking him here, http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu.pVGO...trosprime.com/

Then tomorrow, were going out for a friends 21st in WC. Not really looking forward to that, would rather stay at home and chill.

F1 is one this weekend and house work.

in other news, my wife may be going to the shore on her own on the 15th so it is game on for me and autox.

pete, i love pietro's prime. the quality is right up there with morton's, i'd say. i believe you mentioned eating there before.

actually i plan on racing the evo on saturday and chilling sunday. i am not that interested in the mini thing anymore. lines are going to be super long and the course will be pretty conservative i bet.

i am a bit nervous about my brakes for this event. i won't have time to get my et500s in by then.

Your brakes will be fine... its not like your gonna be doing repeated 100mph stops, I autox'd for a year on HPS. Your car stops doesn't it...?

Pietro's Prime is awesome, best restuarant in WC. This will be our third time there, my buddies never been. It came down to that or Fogo de Chao, and we decided the city was too far for a Friday night, we wouldn't get there till 9pm.

yes it stops. sort of. i use to large trash cans filled with water in my garage to run into to prevent me from driving into the living room . i kid.

i don't feel like rushing with these pads. i want to take the time to clean off the rotors really well and bed them properly because god help me if i end up with brake jutter.

quit being a sissy, like pete says, your brakes will be fine. there are no panic stop situations setup. as long as the car slows down when you hit the pedal, thats all that matters. I think you'll find this is much easier on the car then you anticipate.

thanks all for the tips on places to go for mothers day. I will run them by her and see what she wants to do.
