Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
My buddies daily driven 430whp X just messed up his pins, and has had a lot of issues with the master. He's running the DW 800cc injec with no problems, never heard him mention the relay surprisingly, and his paint doesn't look to bad.
I never heard complaints on the injectors but everything i thought was common know "issues" with X's before i started hanging with my buddies X a lot. So i guess some stuff is hyped and some is true.

the relay i will say was affected in mine. i did change it for the more expensive green one.
anyway we don't need to turn this into a X forum.

The relay issues is legit because IF it goes bad, damage is guaranteed. The mere fact that a better part is available for 12 bucks and it is more likely to prevent expensive problems in the future is enough reason to convert IMO.
The diff pins issue is definitely more visible on higher HP cars that experience launches and more abuse than normal. Again, its just good insurance.
BTW, chris just called and said it would be about 2 hours more labor to install the pins since he'll need to pull the tranny out. He was initially planning to just put in the clutch without dropping the tranny, but his price still seems reasonable. I'll be sure to post a long term reliability review of his work.
I have to go to WC again tonight. A friends 21st, not so much a friend of mine, more of the wifes and her family. Not really looking forward to it, I got pretty drunk last night. I just wanna chill, watch Darlington and eat some ice cream. If I could do that I'd be perfectly happy.
the beast is the antichrist. when he comes is when there is a huge battle at a mountain in israel called magedo or something that is where the word armagedon (i am too lazy to check my spelling) comes from.
Ok, it was you. You weren't broken down though. I was pulling out of the Domino's across from the Rainbow school and you drove past. I was in my sister in laws Toyota so there was no reason for you to notice me.
OK, I just came back home with the new clutch.
1) The chatter is evident but not unbearable by any means.
2) I am glad Chris finished everything in time. Dropped the car at 9:00 sharp and got it back at 5:45 -- 6:00. He did a bang up job doing the job in the promised timeframe
3) Got the pill removed, so engagement is really low. I stalled thrice trying to pull out from GV's lot. But I was fine by the second or third light I stopped at.
4) Chris was kind enough to take pictures of everything when it was opened up, on my request.
5) he also gave me back all the stock parts for pictures sake. will be posting up something soon on the X forums for comparison sake.
6) He also said there were no signs of wear and tear apart from the normal, he said even my diff pins looked good given there were almost 27K miles on it. He's seen worse apparently for so many miles.
7) He aslo suggested strongly suggested against any dyno pulls before piling 200 miles or so. I'm just gonna take his word for it.
Will be posting a long term review as well eventually.
