Dude, lesson for you to learn, always check your tire pressures after each run (that's assuming you even adjusted them prior to running). When I checked the pressures you were anywhere from 2-7 lbs. more pressure than what I normally run. Tire pressure affects handling more than people realize, especially that amount over.
As far as the course, it was tight but challenging. If you look at the overall PAX results, the top 10 are the usual top 10 that we have in our region. So overall the course did not humble the "top" guys in the region. Maybe just you SM **** got humbled...... (I actually screwed the pooch too, but my dirty run would have given me 2nd in class and PAX, pisses me off because I barely hit it).

I guess the course is what it is. It just looked funny cause Steven beat me and Bob was 8th... which NEVER happens. He is usually a good driver. Judging by how everyone else did I agree with you.
i was talking to josh about it on sunday and he seems to think the 4g63's have more trouble starting up than the 4b11 in the cold on e85 (or maybe it's simply the tuning). mine takes a few extra cranks but it starts in seconds. i wonder how it would be when it gets really cold......the winter blend should help it a bit though.
the tire pressure thing was a total oversight on my part. I don't know what i was thinking there. I heard Simmons say it was taken care of and I assumed I was good for the whole event... don't know why I thought that.

Dude, you better keep smack talking while you can cause you never know what will happen next event.

Tire pressures really need to be figured out with a tire temp gauge. I had one with me on Sunday but sadly it was malfunctioning. Hopefully I can get it working correctly before the next event on the 24th and actually adjust the tire pressure this time around. I can tell you that you're probably wearing the outsides too much because you're camber limited, but thats as far as I will go with help cause I have to maintain my edge.
thats a good start... very good start. I would have added something about the fact that you were driving an underprepped BSP car on all seasons in SM, but you did good for your first attempt.

You will help me with my tire pressures ::jedi hand wave::
If your tire side walls look all scuffed up, you are rolling over the side wall. That is probably not enough camber and not enough tire pressure. If it were me I would get as much neg. camber as your set up will allow. This will make your car a little darty on the highway, but I lived with it for a long time. Keep in mind toe is what kills tires not negative camber. Next I would increase your tire pressures. I think a good starting point would be 38 front 36 rear. I actually only mess with R compounds now, but I think that would work for street tires. Prior to doing your run you should mark your tire sidewalls with some white shoe polish (that may be in the tech box or in the truck, but I would just bring my own if I were you). The mark should be where the tread meet the side wall. After your runs you need to look and see if the shoe polish gets rubbed, that will tell you your tires are rolling over or you are good. An increase in tires pressure will stiffen the tire sidewall and help fight against this happening. The other thing to consider is how you think the car feels. I would establish what it takes the tires to stop rolling over and then tweek that with how you like the car to feel. If you really play around with it you will see how much tire pressure affects a run.
BTW if you can't get the alignment still do the tire pressure.
All of you guys running Autox should be messing with your tire pressures every time you run. I hope the guys who are not changing tires are not running the course with the same pressures you run on the street. If so, you guys are wrong and need to add some pressure.
