I really wouldn't. That isn't to say you'll break anything but the risk would be higher and you won't have an optimized setup anyway.

I wouldn't. How long have you had this car? Did you buy it modded or stock? I see by your post count you probably haven't been on here very long (didn't notice your join date) but yeah, just about every mod you do is going to change something. Your set-up is far from optimal with not having a good tune on it.

About helmets again: is there a difference between a motorcyclehelmet and closed face motorsport closed face? None of the sites I am looking at seem to differentiate and they all look the same.

I am not buying now. I'll try it out first before buyng something.
I have a motorcycle helmet. I think I paid $100 for it last year. I believe its a Shoei, I got it from ridersdiscount.

motorcycle - M rating and is engineered for a single impact and/or a slide, like what would happned if you were to fall of a cycle.

Special application - SA rating and is engineered for multipal impacts, like what would happen if you were in a car accident and your head played ping pong off a roll cage.

when it comes time to buy, make sure you get the lightest SA rated helmet you can. Chu has a sick carbon fiber one but I think he stole it from someone on here

thanks. That will help when shopping. I'm getting my roll cage in this weekend. Since I started running 8's I've been feeling unsafe. 745whp ftw!

I would wait a few months if you want to invest in a good helmet Dan. Snell SA2010 is being release shortly, so all of the manufacturers should be putting 2005 helmets on sale. I want to pick up the HJC AR10 when they do. They're about $300 for a nice full-face SA2005 Rated helmet. I also like the ZAMP helmets, which are alittle more expensive.

I'm not sure that you need the safc, in fact it might just be added complexity. Also turbo timers are somewhat unnecessary. You can cool your oil by staying off boost for the last few minutes of the trip.

my advice, sell both to pay for your manifold + tune
