Today was great. Went to the italian food festival at the reading terminal market for almost 3 hours, hung out with the shell gang (s&b4lyfe), and even got a few shots of Sna's car with world debut and unveiling of the advans Also got a pic of the beautifull delaware river beach in NE philly

Oh and I took pics of my new powdercoated bbs's By "Cheeco Performance Coatings". They look awesome!

Unhappy

Opening day at the glen, absolutely sick. Rolled up with central ny subie club, was about 30 subies, 3 evo, mustang club, shelby club, corvette club, classic cars, porsche club, couple of ferraris and lambos, some supras and 3 lonely evos including me.

I almost got kicked off and did get yelled at by every flag person bc it was "paced" 55mph laps and I kept coming into the back straight at like 110. Absolutely hilarious.

Bout to host a bday party, black lights, pong, dance contest 2 kegs jungle juice etc. Best part is, being the host I didn't pay for any booze, the girls cleaned the house, provided the "entertainment" and are cleaning up after...love college. Later fellas

I think my clutch is on the way out. when I am cruising at about 3500 RPM, if I step on the gas all the way in, it tries to accelerate, goes fine till about 4000 RPM, then it jumps suddenly to about 4600 RPM, then comes back to 4300 RPM and continues accelerating normally. Happens more on 5th gear than the other gears.

so, my car is completely stock, any chance for warranty service? I got 26K miles and exactly 25 months since purchase. Closest dealership is cherry hill mitsu, is this a good dealership to approach for warranty service?

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Sorry to say, but break that piggy bank open. You might have a chance at 6 months and under 5,000 miles, and that is a MIGHT. No way on over a year and 26K. On a part that all depends on how you drive the car. I just don't see it happening.

Look at it this way, it's time for an upgrade.

I don't mind forking out the cash if there's no other way, but was hoping I could get mitsu to cover it since my car was stock. Thank you for the immediate reply, i appreciate it.

So, next question, most streetable performance clutch that is reliable and proven. I am leaning towards the exedy twin disc HD kit with the flywheel. Also looking to get the ssp master cylinder, new throw out bearing and the dreaded tranny pins. anything else I should be getting?

Do you think you really need the pins? Is there evidence of them backing out?

And a clutch is a wear item. It is rare the it would be covered under warranty. It is like mitsu covering your brakes too. Like tim said, if it failed after a few month maybe they'd cover it but they'd probably just blame your driving habits anyway.

Get the exedy twin SD not the HD. I guarantee you will love it.

I had mitsu cover my brakes (rotors) and my clutch @ 38k under the original bumper to bumper warrenty.

Exedy twin might be overkill for your needs? What are your goals? Btw, the exedy twin comes with a flywheel so theres no need for it.
