Just want to thank Ben for recommending Teresa's Next Door in Wayne. Finished up this day by hanging out there since E-town was a bust. Had some Firkin, Chimay, Pils, and Triple. Really nice spot. People were packing that place, especially the outdoor tables.

looks good. what is the size and offset of the stock RA wheels?

if it sat a little lower it would look pretty agressive.

Anywhere from $150-$300 depending on who you go too. Robispec and the"high end" guys charge about $300. The Evo is very tricky, or so I've heard. The Alum fenders are easily cracked. I'm doing it myself since Peter Tiebout borrowed a roller off his friend. If ant of you guys wanna DIY, Ncck in NJ has one that I can borrow.

BTW Josh, stop being a pu$$y We love you!

Stock RA Wheels are 18x7, with +46 offset.
The X Wheels are 18x8.5 +38 offset.

Yeah, I'm looking into coils. Just afraid of getting into trouble with them over the winter. How do you maintain these things? How difficult is it? Will it be easier for a nub like me to just go with a good set of springs? I don't mind doing some things but I don't want to get in over my head.

I think the rear wheels are rubbing a bit which is surprising based on what I heard.
Eventually I want to roll the fenders, might have to do it sooner. I need to keep an eye on the tires because I hear some rubbing when I go a little fast on an incline, and I only get this when I go over this bridge in my area. Could I be hitting the inner part of the wheel well?

robert, you can adjust coilovers. springs, it is what it is.

do you remember that one dude at my house with the blue X that looked like it was ready for a snow rally? he raised his coilovers because he kept bottoming out in manayunk.

Robert, the wheels are a nice upgrade as far a width goes. Have you looked at the rear tires to see if there are scuff or cut marks. Cuts are usually signs of bad rubbing.

Josh, let me know when you want to try this and I'll borrow the roller for you. Maybe you and Robert can plan a group thing, and knock a few cars out in one day. I'll be charging a small fee per car for usage...how about two beers each? lol!

Nice Shaw. The only time I ran mine was years ago on the stocker and I pulled a 12.3@113. I'm going to go back in a few weeks to see what it'll do on E85 and the current setup.
Chu I'm in for that, and I have just the beer thanks to danimal.

So I've heard!

Good job Shaw. Sorry I wasn't there to witness it. I was stripping an RX-7. Talked to Jim last night, and it sounded like he was running 11.2s with ease! I told him not to call me unless he ran 10s, but the bastard called anyway...wtf!

You are correct, and i was probably there for that race. Especially if it was the silver evo IX.

Guessing Ben didn't get 10's last night either? Either way Jim running 11.2's is awesome. Wonder if he will be running in the showdown at etown in october like last season?

island pretty much sucked last night, but it was cool to hang out with some peps. I'm probably never going back there again though, people are just di(ks. I almost got into a fist fight with the one old dude in charge of the staging lanes. he was cursing at me for airing down my tires in the lanes. I told him its not safe to run 40psi on the track and he was like "thats not my fu(king problem". so I gave him a few words and he said he was going to call security and get me kicked out. back to what everone was saying about when we were younger... he's lucky I'm older now. F that old dude, I remember him being a di(k YEARS ago when I would go there. I guess nothing has changed.

Chu, help me roll my rears and I'll help you with the front studs. My roller hookup might not come thru...
