Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
island pretty much sucked last night, but it was cool to hang out with some peps. I'm probably never going back there again though, people are just di(ks. I almost got into a fist fight with the one old dude in charge of the staging lanes. he was cursing at me for airing down my tires in the lanes. I told him its not safe to run 40psi on the track and he was like "thats not my fu(king problem". so I gave him a few words and he said he was going to call security and get me kicked out. back to what everone was saying about when we were younger... he's lucky I'm older now. F that old dude, I remember him being a di(k YEARS ago when I would go there. I guess nothing has changed.
Chu, help me roll my rears and I'll help you with the front studs. My roller hookup might not come thru...

The rears are not as bad as everyone says. Take wheel off and take a look at the lip on wheel well. All you have to do is lightly tap it so it folds. As you tap you hold pressure on the outside of wheel well so you don't crack paint. When Robispec did mine he sprayed a silver primer like paint on my car to stop any cracks. I actually think it made it look bad and had someone wheel that **** off when car was detailed. You would never know looking at my car. So just take it real easy and give it a shot. You will not f-it up if you are patient.

Looking like next Friday to do alignment, old skool with string and levels baby. I dropped some nice weight, looking forward to raising the car a little and see how it feels with the less weight and higher ride height. Should work real nice hopefully.
wtf wtf wtf wtf i hate myself, so i tried to save time by not removing the crank bolt and sliding the balance shaft belt behind the crank angle aluminum plate, i must of bent it and when i went to spin the crank to recheck the timing marks , the freaking crank angle sensor broke.

Damn. I did a similarly brilliant move last night. I busted my a** powder coating Carsons valve cover and pipes. We wanted to do a digi camo theme on the VC and wrinkle black for the pipes. I botched it after 3+ hours of stenciling due to a weak electrical ground. He needs his car back so we decided to go with a solid flourescent green instead. Fast forward several more hours and I manage to slip with a pair of pliers reinstalling it and it chips. Just a small one but enough to send me into a violent rage. I guess Im doing it again. I have to post a pic later. Chip aside it looks amazing.
Only got a minute to drop in, just wanted to say Thanks Petey! Parts came yesterday along with a fresh set of Pilot Exalto 2's for the mini. I had the UPS man and the movers here all at once.
Moving F-ING SUCKS! btw...
Enjoy the weather guys!

Pete once you get settled in it will be worth all the work. I wish I would have done more before I moved in.
Now that my kitchen roof is leaking and **** I really wish I would have done more
Josh I will give you another try at camo this winter. Except I want some mossy oak. None of the digi hipster crap

Ran up to New Hope for dinner and drinks with my wife tonight. I'm making spaghetti out of the side wall on the rear tires. It happens only on dips, but the way the roads are around here that's all there is everything is uneven. And when it does rub I get this spaghetti slapping the side of the rear quarter panel when I drive on the highway. My wife is like 'What's that?' .. o nothing just the rubber on the rear wheels turning into pasta. I thought I would play it safe with 225s instead of 235s. Not going to happen.
I can do fades and some simple patterns easily enough but that's more on teh level of an airbrush.
I'm getting too used to working on this car. I yanked my turbo and manifold, replaced the leaking mani to turbo gasket which had completely blown out on one side and had it back on an hour and a half later. I still had enough time to down 2 nugget nectars and stop to give Carson his car back.
That sucks Rob. How wide are the wheels? I'm surprised the ralliart can't handle huge wheels like the X. I figured it used the same sheet metal.
I was on the internetz the other day and I realized that at the speed I was browsing, a normal computer chair would not suffice. So I made this:

Now all I need are some Schroth harnesses and I'll be safe. Living life on the edge ftw.
