marc, first autox was freaking awesome even though i didn't stay on course for any of my runs. i definitely appreciate your input even if it didn't provide the results you hoped for. i'll learn though. the next event i now know what to look for when walking the course and preparing to head out the first time.

thanks for lending me the helmet. i tried to find you after my last run but couldn't. i guess it wasn't an emergency that you have it back. i will take care of it until i get it back to you. if you were waiting for me and i didn't show...my bad.

out of the evo novices that didn't stay on course i came in second.

Glad I could be of some help. like I said, that course was a monster, not really the best one to learn on. thinking back on what I was doing I might have been confusing you guys more then helping by giving too much info.

your car felt quick. even driving at that relaxed pace I could tell it has alot of potential. I hope you continue to come to events this year and that you stay on those all season tires. it might not seem like it at first, but they will expose any bad driving habits you might develop and allow you to correct them so when the time comes to step it up to good street tires you'll be at the top of the learning curve.

Thanks for the tips and such Marc. I had a blast too. Had to be towed home though. I blew the fuel pump fuse a few miles from home and didn't even think to check before I had it towed.

staying on those tires is easier that swapping them out then doing it again when the weather gets cold. i am changing my brake pads though.

and you weren't giving too much info. there was just a ton to learn and execute correctly in a short amount of time and with limited amounts of attempts.

Definitely a tough course today. Not a great course for your first AutoX. Hopefully we have a faster (read funner) course tomorrow. Dan, Josh and John, you all should try and come out to future events if you had a good time.

On a side note traffic on 76 was a little slow going home, and I happened to spot this. WTF???

F(ck that course! I went off course again on my 4th run, only one that was clean was my first... I swear it was some rere's that didn't know where the course went that were calling it in. My last run was clean until the very last second "here's a late off course call for 21 SM" F U!

think i'm a lil agree...

Dude, that sucks. Kinda funny you can beat on your car autoxing, nothing breaks, driving home on bypass, ish breaks down... how's that work?

No grilling for me tomorrow. I'm running first and working second. I'll probably just take off after that.

What? I had a clean run. 113something but it was clean. My best was 109 but I blew it going into a slalom incorrectly.
