losing it in that mini right before i ran really hurt my confidence. looking back at what i did in my car, my X wouldn't have lost it on that mini course running the speed and turning i was doing. minis are great handling cars but my last run i was driving hard in the turns (times don't reflect it) and i didn't come close to losing control.

my first run was basically at the pace of a parade. i just wanted to run slow and smooth and learn the course. it was really slow but i don't care and don't care that i came in dead last. it wont be like that forever. it would be one thing if i went into it talking smack about how awesome i thought i was. autox is not at all how it looks from the sidelines.
Def harder than it looks... People think your just riding around in 2nd gear, if only.

Whats hh?

Also, can you or Chau post the link to watch the F1 race somewhere online? I haven't missed a race in 5 seasons, don't wanna start now.

you're driving at the edge in second gear. and considering our second gears take us to 60mph and in a parking lot really changes things.

HH=happy hour. chu had robert over last friday and wanted me to come. so i suggested we do a friday happy hour in the city. it could be anything from meeting somewhere and getting food and drinks to having chu host it at his place. i should have everyone over to the hospital

Everytime I do an AutoX my first run is slow as anything just trying to remember the course. I know at the rallyX at grandview they let you drive the course first parade style to learn it. It's tough especially if you get only 3 runs and use one just to get a feel of the course, thats one of my biggest gripes..

LEt me kow when you want to meet up about the hood and roof. I prolly didn't slow down the polishing stage enough to remove the buffer trails. Glad the rest of the car is ok though....like I said, I'm no pro.

WTF chip, we had an 8, 3 9s, and a 10, all we needed was the 7 to complete the lineup!

Shaw, sick power kid, congrats.

Petey, nice work. Just go book a vacation, then they can't say no. I recommend anywhere all-inclusive.

Marc, I slept in my car for 1.5 hrs today in the car...

Results are up. I missed 3rd by last than a tenth.

were you driving the white ix? This is my first ever event of any kind, I ran a 63.845...placed 99th lol....I'm just proud I never got off course or hit a cone, and improved my time every run...feels bad finishing behind girls stock class though hahaha. I think the biggest mistake was not turning off ASC...I wouldve been able to get my tail out a lot more.

were on the blvd tonight?
I know of a silver 8, and a silver 9, along with a black 10 that were out. Also Ben & petey said they were heading out. I just never made it out tonight, didn't seem worth it when most of the people i talk to were out for the flyers game but i'm out 99% of the time on sundays.

I don't remember hearing that comment announced, but I wouldn't put too much weight into it. some announcers like to think its a stand-up routine when they're on the mic. The guy doing the MC'ing is usually pretty good, I think it was an off day for him. On the positive side, looking at the results, it looks like you have no place to go but UP from here.
