Thanks Dsb, My goal is to break 700whp on petey's dyno with C16. And I am planing on getting a oem carbon hood soon anyway, but still like To keep my mirrors. The cwest hood do like nice once my cwest front bumper is back on. (but still think the oem will look better)

I think I could have been in the 90's if I dialed the power back a bit and stayed on course. I want to do a lot more this year and get a feel for what the car is capable of. I had issues overpowering in one of the slaloms and slowing down quick enough after straightaways. I pegged 30 psi a lot and had to let off the gas quickly to avoid blowing past a turn. The hawk pads and 4 year old all seasons probably didn't help me either. It was the most fun I've ever had in a car. The mini event wasn't bad either but the instructor I had clearly does not know what a tooth brush is used for.

It's a shame that you guys didn't get the course we had today. Very fast, not overly technical with plenty of sweepers and high speed sections.

finished the radiator and IC install. I am surprised how ****ty the fit on the mishimoto radiator is. The stock fan shroud took over 2 hours to fit into it with some cutting etc. I should've just got the mishimoto fan shroud too. Anyway, its all in the past now.

Gotta do the Intake and reposition the BOV now. After that, refill the radiator with the fluids and go for a test drive.

yeah my times got better and better. i just couldn't manage to get a clean errorfree run. i went off course for each run but it wasn't like i was way off and wondering around finding where i needed to go or cut major corners that would have affected times. it was more like i was on the wrong side of a cone coming out of a slalom or starting out. that whole first section was way over my head. just when i thought i knew it i ended up messing up something else.

my last run showed major driving improvement. that was after marc took me out in my car and showed me how i should be driving it. if i had another four runs i'd would have made some respectable runs/times for sure.

i have a new approach for next event.

I didnt know your car was that fast! Your engine bay sure looks fast, though.

I wish I stuck around for the fun runs. It would have been nice to get extra seat time.
I wouldnt say its fast. Pretty quick but theres a lot I could do. Im thinking tue power it makes now may be all I want. Its going to be undrivable for autox if I push it too far.

Dan, I was a kinda drunk last night... don't want you to feel slighted at all. I went off 3 runs in a row... Karma got me today, my dvr didn't record even though it says it did.

Shaw, sick power kid, congrats.

Petey, nice work. Just go book a vacation, then they can't say no. I recommend anywhere all-inclusive.

Marc, I slept in my car for 1.5 hrs today in the car...

Results are up. I missed 3rd by last than a tenth.

the caboose comment was towards me? if so, that dude was a full on dick. the chicks times were no better than mine but she didn't go off course

losing it in that mini right before i ran really hurt my confidence. looking back at what i did in my car, my X wouldn't have lost it on that mini course running the speed and turning i was doing. minis are great handling cars but my last run i was driving hard in the turns (times don't reflect it) and i didn't come close to losing control.

my first run was basically at the pace of a parade. i just wanted to run slow and smooth and learn the course. it was really slow but i don't care and don't care that i came in dead last. it wont be like that forever. it would be one thing if i went into it talking smack about how awesome i thought i was. autox is not at all how it looks from the sidelines.
