Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I am on my 2nd season street driving the R1R..and Chu is removing what is left on my old set of R1R..they are soft and they work. And some of us on here had the F/S hammer hit pretty hard. P.T.
So what kind of a Helmet should I be getting for the AutoX? What other requirements/recommendations should I know about?
Also, what's the deal with the SCCA membership?

True.. but I already have a Megan resonated test pipe.. the whole purpose was to eliminate some of the drone/exhaust noise but I'm back at square one!! Anyone need a rally cat?? Hehe.
I think snell 95 or better is fine, but for the most part a decent one can be had online for under $100. They have loaners available if you don't have one by then. If you're not a member, you buy a temporary weekend membership. You can apply that cost towards a full membership if you decide to later.

For eg: http://www.amazon.com/THH-Helmet-TS-...822231&sr=1-19
I'll just take the family SCCA membership I think. I'm trying to get the wife into it as well since she's good at driving a Manual Shift on Indian Roads

rest assured that your boy infatuation doesn't have to end tragically at this time.

it was posted on here before that SA2000+ is ok. motorcycle helmets can pass i believe but an SA rated helmet is what is ideal SA=Special applications (or something) and M=motorcycle.
marc can reexplain it if he wants.
